Adding no expiration to tickets

Sorry know this questions has been asked many times and that I should already know the answer. I have already purchased a 7 day hopper pass, if I use say 4 days on it can I then add no exp. to the left over 3 days and if yes how much will it be? Trying to quickly crunch some numbers and talk DH into a short trip

You have to pay the no expiration price base on the original number of days on the ticket in your case 7 days. So $117 plus tax.

Actually it is $110 plus $7.15 tax; total $117.15.

But you should only go to NE for that number of days if you are sure the remaining days will be fully used across one more trip. Note that you are only losing $9.59 by throwing away the remaining three days.

As others have said, it is $117 per ticket including tax, and there's no difference in the price of the no expiration add on for children's tickets.

I'm doing the same thing to talk DH into a short trip for the holidays. Since we have 7 day tickets with the 4/3 deal but only plan to use 5 days, we're going to add the NE and have the remaining two days for a weekend Christmas lights trip later this year. Plus since we have the WP&M addon and will only be using 3 of those features on our May trip and none on our Dec trip, we'll have that leftover to save us from having to add that upgrade to our tickets on our 2010 trip. That $117 upgrade now will save us $212 on future trips!

The only downside is that we're deluxe dining plan fans and since we'll be going room-only in Dec we won't be able to add it. But I even found a silver lining to that - we'll be trying club level for the first time since we won't be concerned with ADRs and using all our DDP credits.

One thing to remember is that th emarginal cost of any day after 4 is only $3 per ticket. So if you "lose" days 5, 6 and 7, you've only lost $9. If the 3 days won't fully cover the next trip, paying $117 to save them may not be a bargain.
