Can I add 1 day to our 5-day Park Hopper tickets that we have already purchased?

If so, does anyone know how much they cost and where I would purchase them?

Would DL give us 6 day Park Hopper tickets in exchange for our 5 day tickets?

Thanks to all ahead of time for any information

Bouncy, I believe yoiu would need to do this at Guest Relations at DLR. From what I have read online, the difference between the 5-6 day hoppers is only $10. But regardless, yes, you can upgrade and you can do it as late as your 5th day in the parks.

Sorry to be a thread hijacker, but I have already purchased 4 day PHs through Disney Travel (Costco) but we have since decided to upgrade to 5 day. I paid 179 (advance price) and know that 189 is the advance price for the 5 day. But, the gate price is 209/219. If I don't call Disney and upgrade through them (and pay the 25.00 change penalty) will I have to pay the difference in price at the gate? Meaning, from 179 upgraded to 219?

Thanks in advance, just need to know if I should call or just wait until we get there.

Similar question.....I have a (2) day park hopper that I'd like to upgrade to a
(3) day. Anyone know how much that would be...or if it is possible?

Thanks

Ok, I just did some brief research on this and found out the following:

If your original parkhopper was purchased through WDTC you can upgrade your tickets from a 5-6 day hopper for $10 (the discount ticket price) at the WDTC office by the Compass Bookstore in DTD. If you try to upgrade at Guest Relations or the ticket booths, you will be charged the difference between the discount price on your ticket and the gate price (which can be a lot more).

Now, I'm not sure if this same thing applies to hoppers purchased through Costco. I would look on the back of your hoppers and see if it says WDTC. If it does, then you should be able to upgrade at the WDTC office in the same manner.

If you purchased the hoppers anywhere else (AAA or Getawaytoday) you can call them to upgrade (which will probably be less) OR you can pay the difference between the discount price and gate price at DLR.

Hope that all made sense. :goodvibes

Just did a little checking myself, on my own behalf. I went out on a limb & just called WDTC. In the travel information it states that for changes made to the package you will be charged 25.00 for each change prior to 30 days of arrival. When I called, I was told: If you have a package and have purchased tickets through WDTC, long as you are upgrading the tickets you can change them without penalty, prior to arrival. So I did!

Now, I do not have to worry about it. I can just sit back and count the really long seconds until November 1st.

So...since I purchased my tickets through the Disneyland Website, I should be able to go the WDTC in DTD and upgrade them for $10.00? I just wanted to make sure that this was correct. Thanks, again, Dangermouse. You are a treasure. :goodvibes

I would want to upgrade only if we are unable to see Fantasmic that first Saturday we are there. (November 10th - Veteran's Day weekend) If the crowds are just too insane, :scared: I would want the 6th day so we could see Fantasmic on Sunday after we get back from Universal. (around 7 PM) Fantasmic is only showing on 3 of the nights we are there, and I don't want to spend hours staking out a place for Fantasmic during our last night at DL. (Friday, Nov. 16th)

I also want to make sure we have Tues, Wed, & Thurs for DL and DCA when the parks won't be so crowded.

We were having so much fun that we decided to stay a day longer in disney than orginaly had planned. Went to the ticket counter at main gate ( not where we needed to be) that person said they we would charge 25.00 at least do stay another day in the park. But she sent us to guest services on the side of downtown disney. We went there and it was only 10.00 per ticket per day to upgrade. They lady was soooo nice.

THANK YOU for this thread! I didn't know you could upgrade tickets when bought as a "package deal". So after reading this thread I called our agent and we are upgrading our tickets for $10 a piece!! I'm only paying $50 for another day for our family of five versus buying one day tickets for everyone at regular price! I am one happy lady! :goodvibes
