Add-on question?

Hi,

New member here. I purchased a new 210 point contract at SSR in December with the $10 discount and getting a June 05 UY. I am now looking at adding on (210 just aint gonna cut it) and the present incentive offers 2004 points with a $5 buyback. (or 2005 points with a $8 buyback)

Will DVC let me buy 2004 point add-on if my base contract does not start untill June 2005?

Trying to sneak in a cheap memorial day trip.

Anyone know? I am waiting patiently for my guide to call me back.

Haven't seen this question before. Someone here might know for sure, but my advice is to call yor guide and get the official word. (Pleasse let us know what you find out). If I had to bet, I'd say the answer is yes - assuming you have the money or credit to do it, LOL!

Here is what my guide told me: If you have already closed, yes you can but if you haven't upon the discretion of Disney they could consider it as an inclusive (I can't remember the exact term) with your original purchase and may not avail of the incentive.

getting a 120 point add-on to my brand new 210 June 05 UY DVC

I'm getting 120 04 pts (to be used by May 31, 2005)
And an extra 100 05 pts.

paying $90 a point

so Im giving up $5 a point for the 120 point Add ($600)
and getting 220 extra points in return. and savign the June-Dec dues on the add.

other option was Giving up $2 a point for the 120 point add ($240)
and getting 100 extra points in return

I could either make a bundle on rental.. or enjoy it myself
(oh no!), I have to go to WDW before Memorial Day
