We are on a four night cruise on the Dream. Sail away is listed as 3:45. Although I know there are currently no sail away parties, I enjoy seeing the ship head out to sea and away from the port. Recent cruisers, what time did your sailing actually get away? I hate to have other activities booked and miss it-

On our 3 night Dream Nov. 5, it was around 6. There was a very late arrival and then some issues (they kept paging engineers). At least it was still light because daylight savings was 2 days later.

It was about 5:15pm on our dream cruise. We were keeping an eye on the time because we had to pick kids up from the club at 5:30 before early dinner, and I was surprised we were sailing away so late.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the late starts are due to them running longer to complete all the covid testing on cruises. We were on one of the higher-attendance cruises (over 2,000) and they were definitely still doing the welcome show in the lobby at 4pm as we were dropping the kids off at the club.

Wondering same about Magic out of Miami. Our All Aboard time is 4pm. How long after all aboard does it usually sail? We have the champagne tasting at 4 and conflicted about if we want to be in a bar or on deck, hope it ends up not overlapping. Anyone with experience on this?

On the Wonder, the Captain announced approximately when we’d leave the dock. It was between 4-4:30 pm. I don’t recall when it was announced, but there was plenty of time to get up on deck with a drink.

Last week for the 12/12 Fantasy, we started to sail away ~5:00pm according to my photos! I forgot when the all aboard time was.
