Accessing Reservation online

Is anyone else having a problem accessing their reservation online? I already had a room only reservation at ASMo booked for Jan. 2008 before the rates came out, and on Sunday I called and got the AAA discount applied to my ressie. I'm trying to get into my reservation online, but it keeps telling me I need to input the confirmation number and the phone number I used when making the ressie, even though that is exactly what I am doing. I even checked the email I got when I first made my original ressie, to double check the confirmation number. When I had the AAA discount applied, I was not given a new confirmation number - should I have been? Or is this just another problem with their new system?

How did you add the AAA discount? If you had a AAA agent do it (and that's the only way I know, but maybe there are other ways) then the reservation is now in their name (AAA) and you will no longer be able to access it online.

I did it directly through Disney. While you have to go through a AAA agent to book a AAA package, you can get the AAA discount on room only reservations directly through Disney. I'm wondering if I should call just to double check my ressie, or give it a couple more days to get into the online system...

Well, maybe this info will help. I had a regular room ressie for Feb that had a fairly short conf number that began with an R. When I called to get a AAA rate from CRO, they gave me a new ressie and completely cancelled my other. The new conf number is VERY long. I think I remember my AAA conf numbers in the past being long as well. I would call back. I bet you have a new conf. number.

where do you go to access your reservation online? all i can access is my reservation through the dvc website when i am using my points. I can't see the reservation for Pop Century that I made

Sooo...my October reservation I made myself room only through Disney...can I call back and have AAA rate applied? I am waiting for an AP code but if they don't release one then I could have the AAA rate applied to an existing room only reservation? The things you learn on this board!

Yes, if it's available for your resort & your dates (I think there are a limited number of rooms made available at the AAA rate). It saved me 20% on my January reservation for ASMo. I think the percentage discount varies with the season and the resort level (value, mod, etc.).

maraki527, on the disneyworld.com, on the left hand side of the page, on of the options under Pland and Prepare is Retrieve Reservation. You may need to register on the site first, then you will have to input your confrimation number and phone number, and it's supposed to pull up your reservation.

I called Disney reservations yesterday to make sure everything is okay with my ressie since I haven't been able to access it online. The CM doubled checked, and it's all there in their system, but for whatever reason it's still not working for me online. Late yesterday afternoon I clicked on the "Technical help" link on the website, and explained the problem, but I haven't gotten a response yet.

I booked my room only through DU. I read the DU FAQ page that states when you reserve a room and make a deposit, disney actually charges your cc. I tried to pull up my conf# at the disney site. It's a no go. Is the conf# DU has on their client page different then what is in the disney system, even though it is disney that charges your reservation?

Thank you! I will call and see!

We have a room only reservation with Disney for April 2008, and we can't get it online either. I wrote Disney about it and they came back with the idea I should clear my cache of temp files to make it work. It didn't work , so I wrote them again and I now am waiting for a second reply. We also called them about it and they gave a a new figure for the total , but the CM didn't know if the total included our one nights deposit or not. So when all is said and done , I still don't know how much I owe on the reservation, and I can't make any additional payments online either. Might want to book it as a AAA rate but I want to know my total first.
:confused3  :headache: :sad2: :sad1:

Does anyone know...if I am the AAA member, can I apply the rate to another family memeber, who is on a different reservation, but traveling with us?

We just did this last night! We have two rooms under my inlaw's AAA.

Thank you, but I'm sorry I wasn't clear. We have two different reservation numbers but only one of us is a AAA member, can the discount be applied to both reservations?

Yes, that should be fine. We also had two reservation numbers. My mother in law, who has AAA, called last night and had the discount applied to both our rooms. We got new confirmation emails with the lower rate. We still have different reservation numbers since it's two different rooms, but both get the rate. Hope that helps!
