Acceptances are out for Fall/Fall Advantage 2012

My daughter did hers this past Tuesday for August at DLR and nothing on the dashboard as of yet..keeping those old fingers crossed.

I also applied for DLR and am hoping for Fall Advantage - just waiting to ace my interview tomorrow night. I'm not sure what the Dashboard would say if accepted but she should receive either an email acceptance or a letter in the mail (I've heard its a big envelope if accepted and small one if not but I could be wrong).

Nope. The original rumored acceptances (including this one) were discovered to be false. Someone on the FB group called Disney and it was confirmed that no acceptance offers have been made yet.

I am so relieved to know acceptances haven't gone out only because I don't want to be passed up because I interviewed after other people. Good luck everyone! I don't think I can stand to wait 3 weeks!!!

I had my phone interview a week from today... I really wish I knew if I was in or not. My friend, who is in the program now, said she knew within a week. I'm guessing because I applied on the first day the application was open. I just want to know!!!!

The anticipation is killing me!!!!

I am so glad to know that. Phew now I can stop checking every hour, or at least say that I can stop checking. But for people who were interviewed the first week, isn't this week two of waiting for them?? Maybe next week the first wave will go out.
Either way good luck to everyone whose interviews are coming up and here's hoping those who already interviewed find out soon. I know I'd like to be able to relax a little bit.

My daughter fround out 4 days after her phone interview she was accepted. She is there now. She checked in on on Jan. 9th. Good Luck!!

Wow - that's awesome! Did she interview early in the application process for the Spring program or did she apply later on?

She did everything pretty much when it all opened up. I can ask her the dates when I talk to her. She would know exactly. I remember she did her interview about a week and a half after getting the email that she passed her web interview. I believe it was a Sunday when she did the web interview...and then she scheduled her phone interview for Thursday of the next week after her web interview on Sunday..so not the Thursday 4 days later. She had some things going on at college and wanted to wait a bit. She had her interview that Thursday afternoon and got the "You have been accepted" that Monday around 1:00. She was one of the lucky ones...because some people waited weeks, some were pending for a weeks and weeks and weeks. I don't quite understand how this system works. Some people on the FB page ended up getting pending until December 19th..... yet twice got "Are you still interested" emails in mid Nov. and again in Dec. Then got the horrible news on the 19th or 20th that they didn't get in. I felt horrible for those people. People kept saying that things had changed and there were glitches in the system because it was new. I just hope they got that all fixed and you all don't have to go through that mess. GOOD LUCK!!!!

From what I understand (which is admittedly little!) Tuesday is a rumor. The first interviews were two Tuesdays ago and I believe most of us whom interviewed that week were told we'd hear within two weeks. Monday would be the last day of week two for those who interviewed the first day so we should start hearing something, at least.
