Ok, help me understand how the room charge works please. I will have $1500 for our trip. I plan to take $300-$500 in cash and/or Disney Dollars. I am leaving the rest in my account. Now, if I use the room charge I have to give them a credit card right? The money will be in our checking account and I will be giving them our Debit/Visa to charge against. Can I tell them how much of a credit limit I want? If so, can you check it periodically to see how much you have spent thus far? I plan to keep up with receipts of course. I just thought it would be easier to call and check each day or so. I really don't want to carry that much cash with us for the trip. Plus, I think we will be more apt to leave with money still in the bank this way. Thanks for any help you can give. This is my first trip and I'm still quite naive about such things! :teeth:

Yes, you can. If at a Disney property, you can set a spending limit, daily or for your trip. At a restaurant, or wherever, you charge back to your room and every so often you can ask them to debit your bank account for the then current outstanding charges. Works nicely. And you ask for a balance at any time.

Enjoy your trip, you will forever remember that magic. :earsgirl:

Thanks a bunch, Dan! That will make things so much handier.
