? about AP rates

Hi. Are there ever AP rates on the Villa properties? We have become spoiled and love staying there. I don't know if I could ever save money on them by getting an annual pass. Thanks.

They are few and far between. If you don't have a particular property preference, and are flexible to what dates you'll go, you might find availability. Your best bet would be OKW, since it's the biggest DVC property. VWL and BCV are the smallest and probably would have little to no availability. Also, usually studios are easier than one bedrooms, with the two bedrooms being impossible. The last two rounds of AP rates haven't been all that good, only offering a fixed $$$ amount off. The current batch, which covers Value Season is only $85 off rack rates, regardless of full price. It's a pretty good discount for studios, but for the other ones, not that great. The best way to get a discount on the villas is to rent DVC points, as well as guarantee the resort of your choice. I got about a 30% off AP rate on a 1 bedroom at OKW last Friday night. $301 incl tax.

always call and ask anyway, you never know what deal they might give you. It doesn't hurt to ask.
