Your Facebook link didn't work for me... :confused3 What did he win???

Congrats to the winner! Get ready for your whips! ;)

My guesses for G:
Grand Floridian and Gasprailla Grill and Games

In case I don't make it back on the boards before Sunday,

Happy Mother's Day to you Liesa and all of the fabulous moms on the DIS!

Well, shoot. It worked for me, but I had to log into FB for it to work. So, I've just "shared" it on my profile so you can go to it that way. For those of you who aren't FB Friends with me, you can find me at Liesa Maycock Buren.

And for those who aren't on FB at all, Andrew won the Military Order of the World Wars Award of Merit. HEre's a link for you to find out more about what it is. He was given a certificate, a set of bars for his Class A uniform, and a medal!!

Yours was a tough one. In the end, French Fries didn't work, since Fairfaxe Fare doesn't serve them at all according to the latest allears menu.

You can still play with this round! Who knows, I may throw a super tricky one in that ONLY you will get! :confused3:goodvibes

My guesses for G:

I posted some more info in post #1089, and linked his post to mine on FB. :goodvibes

Hmmm... whips! Now that's a novel idea! :lmao:

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

If it is a whip everyone has to post their WHIP pictures!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

:scared1: Isn't one more than enough?

:lmao::lmao:

Where's you guess for Letter G? I KNOW you know where that is!

My guess for G:

Got it down! :woohoo:

Awwww, THANKS!!! It's a double whammy holiday for me- :rolleyes1

The facebook link didn't work for me either !!!!!I thought it was just me but I see others had the same problem !!!!

I think I've got it fixed! See post #1089.

Thanks, I'll pass along your congrats!

I won't be on much either! I have GOT to get out into the yard, rain or shine and get my veggies in!

So thanks for the Mother's Day wishes!! It's GREAT to be a mom! YOU TOO!!! You must be proud also of those "kids" of yours!

You might be right... :lmao::lmao:

I posted it already!!!! GRRRRRRRR :headache::headache: :headache::headache:

I will cut you some slack, being a post host is hard work! ::yes::

--> Grand Floridian, Garden View Lounge!

Just testing you...

OK, not really. I guess I was too fixated on you calling RPW boring. :lmao: And laughing too hard at the "yard sale" comment. :rotfl2:

I haven't actually tallied the scores yet- I usually wait til just about NOW to go back through the thread carefully, and mark the spreadsheet with points. I need to get an update done this morning too- going to make my coffee and settle into that now too. So lots of thread "housekeeping" today. Glad you can find it in your forgiving and kind heart to 'cut the slack' (that's very much opposed to "cut the cheese"). ;)

I forgot my G guess (although I really stink at this game):

Grand Floridian and near Gasparilla Grill & Games

Okay, I've given things a look-see, and here's who I DON"T have down as having given a guess yet:

Marv
PirateKate
onelilspark (I hope you want to play this round!)
Jessica?
Tammie
PennyLane
Tina
Nory
Millie

Time is running out to get in on this Letter!

I don't have the slightest clue on this one, Liesa. Sorry. :sad2:

I had last left you with visions of something quite the opposite of sugar plums- I hope it’s not still dancing in your head. That was taken at 3:45, and my first photo after that was at 5:32. Sooooooooooo, what did The Adventurer do for an hour and 45 minutes? Several things…

Knowing how to prioritize (most of the time), I quickly plugged in my cell phone and camera, and took stock of what I wanted to gussy up in for my first dip into the Magic Kingdom. I’ve already gotten some flack on here by a few of you, and I imagine I’ll get a bit more soon….

But before I could take that dip into the Magic Kingdom, I wanted to take one in the Pop pool. Just to say I had. I hate to say it, but the water was almost too warm to really be refreshing. I paddled around a bit, people watched for 10 minutes or so, then decided enough was enough. I just wanted a cool shower, and a quick nap. Some dates are important, and my upcoming one in a short while was one of them; so I didn’t want to miss it!

I imagine I was up again around 5:15, threw on my new set of duds, and got as “princess-y” as I was ever going to for this trip. That’s when the transformation happened. As I slipped on my tiara, the room began to spin, there were bright flashes of light, and before I knew it, my barouche arrived pulled by 10 white horses. Those horses must have eaten something horribly powerful though- their wind smelled terrible of diesel! While Prince Charming was 1,000 miles away, THIS princess had some royal engagements and some serious playing to do!

Now, in case those visions of sugar plums have gotten out of your head, let me put them there again:

For this is what I saw when I opened the door almost 2 hours later to leave.

Passing by the delightful scenes along Main Street, pausing only for a quick photo or two

I quickly made my way to the first ever meeting with Princess Brook and her Princes, Joe and Henry. (She allowed me to call them by their familiar names rather than the royal name, “Joseph Garibaldi William Fitzgerald III.) I was on time; they were fashionably late, arriving with a horseless carriage. Already having corresponded in royal manner, etiquette allowed for informal hugs and greetings, rather than curtsies. And since things were pretty informal, we decided to eat commoner’s food rather than guinea hens and venison. Then again, you never can tell WHAT’S in a hot dog- corn dog nuggets to be exact.

I don’t think too much about what’s IN them, and just focus on how incredibly tasty and savory they are.

We had a lovely time chatting about the business of our kingdoms, our subjects placed under us by Sovereignty, and the plans we had made for the upcoming days of holiday. Her son, Prince Henry found immense pleasure in playing with my page, Tate O’Patty,

and found mischief in opening Tate’s hind quarters. Boys never change throughout the ages, do they?

LiesasWDWPix2010215.jpg

Alas, it was time to part our ways to our own personal businesses, but we had formed a lasting alliance that may someday prove to be strategic in protecting the land against marauding bandits or unsavory plots against our realms.
