Caught back up again, and read the chatter too. I need a nap......
So happy to hear the results were good on the resquish..
Saying a prayer for the hubby....
I really thought about all the things i would bring home with me from WDW to 'have', and honestly, i want it all to remain there. But: i want the feeling, you know the feeling you have when you are there, the "happy".
i want that, at home.
Loving it, as usual, its great, keep it churning.
KIM
Hey there, Kim!! I totally understand "bringing the feeling home". I get it!! Something about that place that makes us just never want it to end. When I think about it, it's more than the rides, the stuff, the food- it's the people you're with, the happy sounds, the carefree attitude with time, all that.
Well put.
1. Thank heaven your mammogram came back clear.
I am very relieved, and now don't have to worry for another year.
2. Definitely sending someyour way on your husband's job... I am such an anxious person...can't stand waiting for answers like that. Its so tough.
THANKS!! we'll know hopefully any time this week! It IS so hard, but God is good and sustains us everyday.
3. Despite being a serious lover of WS, I've never walked that far back into Morocco. Between the shots on your TR and Glenn's I
Obviously, I got overzealous with the copy and paste function and chopped off half of your repsonse there, but I think the gyst of it was that you want to see more of Morocco- right? YES, there is a TON to see back there, and is well worth the time; I always spend the most time in there as everything is so exotic and fun. Lot of rich textures and colors to see!
4. YES! Why is the store in the US pavillion so LAME??? I toss a ball around my classroom sometime to up class participation and energy and really would love to find a small, stuffed historical figure of some kind to toss...(that sounds far stranger than it is) and thought Disney would be just the place to find, like, a stuffed Ben Franklin or something. No dice.
I have no idea why they don't play up the Native AMerican aspect of the wildwest or even Gold Rush/Pioneer eras more??

5. I, too, was endlessly amused by the number of women I saw walking around in heels and other ridiculous get-ups. Now, I will say that one of the nice, fun things about Disneyworld is that people do often dress up a bit more than they might at other amusement parks, but heels...super short skirts? At least she had the legs for it...saw plenty of women strutting around like that who just, well...no. One should know one's limits!

That's waht I said earlier- she admittedly did have great legs; sadly far too many wear that kind of get up and really don't have what it takes to pull it off. Regardless of one's personal bounderies of what's appropriate or not, this particular one (I have a few more) stood out as out of place, and uncomfy.
6. I, too, own that Mickey head wine stopper. The one from your grandmother, however, is far more beautiful.
It was a lucky find, and since I'm the only one who drinks any wine to speak of in the family, i was lucky enough to get it.
