it kind of does! Matchy matchy can go too far, it's good to mix it up.
Ok so here is the scoop as I know it today, which is not remotely final.
Poor Kendall's team has to "play in" to State cup, which they didn't expect to have to do. It's over the spring break for almost all the team. As a result, 3 families have trips planned and girls out. And 3 girls were already out due to injuries MAJOR drama has ensued. You can only imagine how Jeff's ex is dealing with the fact that some families scheduled vacation when this potentially could happen.
I really need to be at her game(s) to support her as it could be brutal and over before it starts based on all those factors. Because of the scheduling fiasco we aren't quite sure when the games are yet!
Here is what I do know.
Friday:
For sure: All day tradeshow for me till 6pm, I'll be wiped. Evan has some stuff that night but nothing Jeff can't handle.
Not sure: Kendall may have a state cup game that night, no idea where.
Saturday:
For sure: Eric has swim lessons. Kendall has a 1pm state cup game in Buckely.
Not sure: Evan is supposed to have a baseball game but we don't have the schedule yet.
Sunday:
For sure: My nephews bday party. He'll live if I miss.
Not sure: Kendall may have a state cup game, no clue on time or location.
Ideally she has her game Friday, Evan's baseball game is at 9 am and I head to Salem after the game in Buckley. That'd get me there around 6 I think? Not sure if I'd bring Eric or leave him so he can go to his cousin's party. Might let him pick.
If Ev's game is during K's I'll see if my folks can help. He'll live if I miss even though it's the first game of the season.
The wildcard is her game. If it's on Sunday, but later in the day, that's doable from Salem. If it's at 9am (which sadly yes, they do) then I have a real problem.
So...stay tuned! Sorry for all the detail but didn't want you to think I was blowing off figuring it out, I'm on hold (held hostage?) by 2 different teams/leagues lol
Sometimes these games are an in the moment deal as the season progresses, so absolutely no problem. It goes without saying that I would LOVE for you to be here, and have every confidence you're trying your darndest. But I know what it's like to be "held hostage" (that's my entire life right now) and it's a tough place to be for making plans. IN the end, it'll work out the way it's supposed to, and either way, we'll get to meet soon, I think. Keep working at it, we'll get there.
