Not to shamelessly plug my own review, but I just finished up my dining review from last week's trip.

You're doing VERY well, Rosie!! Keep that good work up!
Way to go Rosie!!
That was VERY impressive about Imogene Coca. I'd never even heard of her before, and now that I've seen pix, I'm CERTAIN that Edna Mode was characterized after her!
Makes you wonder, huh? Brad Bird who created The Incredibles did Edna Mode's voice for the movie, which I think is hilarious.
I really thought everyone would come up with the Incredibles no problem, and if no that, Idol. But that one would have been on shaky ground since it technically starts with A. But since everyone was having such a hard time, my heart became soft and buttery.![]()
Wow, I was thinking of the Incredibles, but I never thought that they were "close" to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. So everything in the same park counts as close to? Or were the rules specifically relaxed this time?? I am not complaining since I managed to get two right answers thanks to your explanation about proper nouns...![]()
I think Rosie thought she won the "Loser Award" a few games back, but it too was all in good fun. But she's smoking hot this time around!
I know, I'm right there with ya on this one.
I got home last night at 10pm and am at work today.I did get to ride Star Tours twice yesterday morning as they were having a soft opening and it ROCKED!!!!

I'm happy to hear you liked it, I'm concerned it will give me the urp's if I go on it. The last one I loved up until I didn't anymore. One day, out of the blue, I started getting motion sickness on that ride and it was no longer to be. Do you think the same will happen on this version? I hear it's all the same motions, lots of rocking and quick jerky moves. I'd rather hear the review from you though.

Sooooo beautiful.
It might have except it's Aunt Gertie's Ice Cream of Extinction - too many non-I words before it. One might work, but not 2. I know, now it seems sort of random. Gosh- what to do, what to do?? A vote?? Except I did say no ice cream though...

Well, you could ask Glenn wether he lends you his rules committee...![]()
And just a general comment: I must say that Allears is a wonderful website...![]()
Very impressive research! That basement of yours convenient for viewing busts?
Don't have a basement, but if I did it would certainly be on the extensive list of possible locations......
You mean you're not really a whiner?
Not normally, but I do like Rum drinks.........and cheese!
Yeah, I only threw that word in there about a dozen times.
Believe it or not, that one word isn't what finally triggered it for me. That late night post was because I woke up with acid reflux and couldn't go back to sleep. I figured while I was up I would check out the DIS and read one of your responses and I think you had the word "character" in there and the light bulb finally came on! Now if I can just figure out a way to have acid reflux hit immediately after each new installment of your contest, I can figure out the answers a whole lot quicker!
No way! I'm a realist!!!If you think that will hurry ANY of us up- try again.
I gave you quite a few......It was kinda far, but hey, how many things start with I any closer?? (2)
Yeah, being an Engineer myself, I guess I was trying for strict adherence to the rules also. Made me rule out Idol since it is American Idol Experience. I don't think I was originally even considering the AnimationThis was fun! Tough, but fun! Well, since you dropped the hint a few times I almost picked The Incredibles at the Dinsey Animation Building...however, it wasn't a two minutes walk so I thought that would be a no go.Being married to a engineer....I'm going to take you at your very word.
See! Liesa.I wasn't the only one who took you at your word of being within a two mins. walk.

Academy section of the park since it wasn't (relatively) nearby.![]()
You have six points too Glenn! How long did you spend searching??
![]()
The 2nd part is what surprised me. At first I really had to think a bit on what could possibly start with I nearby, but after a bit of poking around, I found several. Only 1 each of you guessed the harder ones such as: Its a Wonderful Shop (the Christmas shop with the snowman) (GREAT job, Glenn!) and Imogene Coca, an American comedy star who was best known to play opposite Sid Ceasar- whose handprints are in front of GMR). If you google her, you may find that the character Edna Mose resembles her.(GREAT job, Jenb1023- you had one up on me there!!!) But my first thought when putting the Letter up was the Incredibles who you can meet over in Animation. Yes, I know that American Idol doesnt start with I, but I went ahead and accepted that one too, as many of you chose that for your answer. I also gave points for anyone who used Itzakadoozie, which is a popsicle like thingy sold all over the parks. (There were several of those too). No one guessed In Character the shop inside the Animation Pavilion.
I actually found the picture of It's a Wonderful Shop also, but since the "I" word in the title most assuredly isn't a Proper Noun, I didn't mention that one. Now that I know when you stress a rule additional times and violators still get a shout out and potentially bonus points in the future, from henceforth I shall make sure I include even the rules violations in my myriad answers......I shoulda given you and Glenn a bonus point for having a unique answer!!! Hmmm.... maybe next Game Pt. I can add that dimension.
Imogene Coca was a great catch, and during some of my research I thought about the hand/footprints near the GMR, but never really pursued those as I found other answers first. I was actually searching for a potential bronze bust of Ingrid Bergman, but didn't find any evidence of such.Woo-hoo! 6 points!
Thanks for the shout-out on Imogene Coca! I was trying to stick really close to Indy which is why I did American Idol first. Then I was convinced it was one of the bronze busts but do you think I could find a list of who was on those anywhere on the web. So, since it was a proper noun, I thought of famous people with "I" names that might be featured at Disney and came up with her and sure enough her handprints are there. So, if anyone has or can find a list of who has a bronze bust there I would love to know.
Looking forward to J!
The most extensive collection I found was actually a YouTube video, which is a lot of still photos from all over DHS. Do a google search on "Disney Hollywood Studios Academy of Television Arts bronze busts" and you should find it. The video is posted by BriansDisneyGal and has a lot of great photos. She has a number of related videos posted, so look for the one that is exactly 10:00 minutes long. The pictures of the bronze busts are 6:40 into the video. If you remember where I would love to see them! I found a few partials but could't find all of the photos or a list in one place.
YOU DIDN"T GOOGLE BUSTS DID YOU!!???!!!![]()

Store? I thought that was a facade........Usually "It's" isn't a proper noun....but it is when it's the name of the store.
