I need to find a way to convince DH to go to Disneyland! He keeps threatening to go on one of his Vegas/road trips with his buddy but so far they stick with canyons and craters. Maybe now that the youngest is out of high school and the boys are less enthusiastic about vacationing with us we will have enough extra DVC points to take a trip in that direction someday. Of course, I also want to plan a cruise sometime too..... Maybe I need to plan on winning the Lotto!

Sounds like you all got your prizes now! Glad they all arrived safely. Still have not heard from Rosie or Jessica- so I assume they are either not reading their PMs or don't want them.

I"m back in San Diego enjoying yet more Mexican food and fellowship with Aunt Cherrie and Mom. Everything has been lovely so far except one aspect of the trip, which I can expound upon sometime later...

Tomorrow is the last full day of trip, then a day of travel. I have such very limited internet time here, so although I want to post more pix and stuff, I just don't have the luxury of unlimited internet time- but that's not what this trip is about anyway.

I was excited to hear your voice on my machine the other day. I'm just glad we finally caught up with one another, I wasn't sure if I should try and call you back since your there with such limited time. I can't tell you how great it was to hear you so happy, it's probably from all the sun your not use to.

Hi! Tried to reply on FB, but missed you. The camping was great - lots of fun - coming home was not. Our truck broke down just starting up the mountain and we had to have AAA get our truck, Jim's Dad get our trailer, and Ryan take us home - our 2 hr trip home took 7 1/2 hrs and we took up everyone's day. We are thankful there were no accidents on that curvy road and for family who could help us out! Don't know what the deal is with the truck, but thinking we're glad we weren't on our way to Phoenix - might have to sell the trailer to buy Jim a vechicle to drive - but all things work together for good

Last full day here was great!! I got some awesome photos of the Star of India, the USS Midway, and a bunch of other Navy ships in the harbor, and the 3 of us ladies tooled around Seaport Village all afternoon hanging out in the Wyland Gallery, eating ice cream, smelling the salty air then hitting up a drive around Coronado Island. It was swell!!

Dan, I was thinking of doing that actually, for Round 2 prizes, but went with something else. You 6 winners from that round should be getting your prizes in the mail anytime. Rosie, you will get what Round 1 winners got, since you were the only one that was not duplicated in that group- if that makes sense. But, it will take me a bit to get it fixed up for you

I've been spending my evening hours spiffing up my photos and have actually written not one, but two updates for you, and they should be ready to post up after I can get on the internet long enough to upload the photos to PB. Maybe from the airport?? So look forward to the continuation/conclusion of Day 4 very shortly! Aren't you excited?!?

Hopefully, I will also be able to start with the Anaheim interlude as well! I"ve got my title and am ready to rock and roll with that one. I should be able to write an intro tonight. So, in short, lots to look forward to coming up!!!

WE LOVE WORLD OF COLOR!!! But Fantasmic is still mine and my 4 yr old son's favorite. World of Color is my hubby's favorite so now we just make sure to watch both when we go.

Glad to see and hear you guys are having a terrific time!! Still sad I wasn't able to get down there and meet you but good news is we are going back July 10!!!!

Is this a picture of World of Colours? (Sorry, I don't know anything about DL except for visiting in 1992) If it is, I definitely have to go there some time, too!

Yes that is World of Color. It is an awesome show!! It's become a new favorite of my husband's so we now have to see it at least once every trip.
