Hi Liesa, I'm back from Mexico and you are off on a trip to Cali w/Mommy.
Have a great time. Hope it is very memorable.

All good things must come to an end, and I'm actually looking forward to getting home. I miss my kids and need to get ready for re-enacting this weekend.

did some catching up though. Skimmed the banter. Wish i had time.
Torch lighting is cool. They start it with a fire dance. He was......easy on the eyes. The fire was so close to his body. We thought he actually touched. When he was done and lighting the torches we saw a spot on his chest start to Blister.... price of doing business with flame, i guess.

Yeah, I gathered he was a piece of eye candy. OUCH! A blister on his skin?! I guess every job has a price to pay...

Lapu Lapu: me and sis. bought one each and sat on the swing outside on the beach 20 feet from our room. talked, and laughed. bought another and shared. laughed.

**Pardon the interruption while I try to pick the brains of some of Liesa's followers**

**The following is my latest post on my TR which I am going to shamelessly plug on some of the other TRs that I am following. My link is in my signature if you are not already following**

I want to try to do a guessing game similar to Liesa's Master Predicter game. I am not organized enough to do one like Marv's with questions that I would answer in the report because I don't write my reports ahead of time. When I find the time I ramble on until I either run out of things to say, or time to say it. I'm not as creative as the Captain to blend movie quotes into the report. And I don't take many pictures (and avoid having ones of me) so I couldn't do a search and find like took over Glenn's.

But I am having a hard time coming up with questions that don't just have yes and no answers. I do have a few written down, but would like to request some suggestions from you folks! I will post a final list sometime before I go, will take the list with me to make sure I keep track of what the answers are. And will reveal the answers when I get back. Maybe to book-end my hat a day count-down, I will do an answer a day after our return.

Thanks for posting, Tammie! I was hoping you could relay some of my antics here for me!

If I had to be stuck on IASW (which I wouldn't mind-probably one of the few) that would be the one I would want to be stuck on!
I just spoke with her too and it sounds like they're having a good time. She said it was time to find a spot for the night time show....Magical? She's in great spirits, it blesses me to hear her in such good spirits, although....you'd be hard pressed to find her any other way when at Disney.

It was fun...






for about 3 minutes. And at first I thought I'd like it too. But I can only take so much happiness!

I was beside myself with giddiness! It was magical for sure- not quite as good as Wishes, but very, very wonderful for sure! The Tink flight is.... wait, I"m getting way ahead of myself.

I guess I'm one of the few too that wouldn't mind being stuck on IASW especially with my little ones. They love to sway and sing with the music. Puts a big smile on my face. Plus it means I'm at Disney not at home!!!

Glad to hear she's having a great time!

I majorly swinged and swayed. Really, I did.

She sounded almost giddy!



See, it is magical to some! I remember when our cousiing Caitlin, who just graduated from HS, was 3 and 4 she would stand up and hold her Daddy's hand while she did a spin in the boat like the dolls!

WOW! I should have done that too, but there was that annoying sign in my boat that said no crazy dancing!

Thanks so much! I really had to put some thought into the writing on this because it runs at such a deep emotional level. That's sometimes really hard to do.

I'll definitely be adding a whole chapter on my thoughts on comparing the 2 resorts. This trip definitely gave me some new insights and opinions.

Nope, never heard that word before, but have seen them of course. Never used one though. Maybe I should pick up a couple for our summer camping trips.

Piva, in case you're interested is actually Russian for been- and for the life of me can't think of the native word. Huh! OH YEAH!! It came to me. CblPA. Pronounced syrah, like the wine.

If NO ONE else likes it then why is there always a line!! Sheesh didn't they hear that there are only a handful of us who really like that ride so get out of our way!!
It was great cuz then all of her friends got into it too!! Again she wasn't happy with me. I know, I know I'm a brat!!

No, don't get me wrong!! I do actually really love the ride!! Just not for an hour. I like to find all the different ethnicities and listen for the different languages, but enough was enough! I found soemthing sort of very cool and very related that I am dying to share- coming up later!!

I need to find a way to convince DH to go to Disneyland! He keeps threatening to go on one of his Vegas/road trips with his buddy but so far they stick with canyons and craters. Maybe now that the youngest is out of high school and the boys are less enthusiastic about vacationing with us we will have enough extra DVC points to take a trip in that direction someday. Of course, I also want to plan a cruise sometime too..... Maybe I need to plan on winning the Lotto!

There's a lot of charm at the DLR! Lots of different attractions and you can't beat the weather!!

And tons of CLOSE cheap hotel options... more on that later....

I'm just glad we finally caught up with one another, I wasn't sure if I should try and call you back since your there with such limited time. I can't tell you how great it was to hear you so happy, it's probably from all the sun your not use to.

Hi! Tried to reply on FB, but missed you. The camping was great - lots of fun - coming home was not. Our truck broke down just starting up the mountain and we had to have AAA get our truck, Jim's Dad get our trailer, and Ryan take us home - our 2 hr trip home took 7 1/2 hrs and we took up everyone's day. We are thankful there were no accidents on that curvy road and for family who could help us out! Don't know what the deal is with the truck, but thinking we're glad we weren't on our way to Phoenix - might have to sell the trailer to buy Jim a vechicle to drive - but all things work together for good
