AAA then AP?

Hi everyone, another question If I book in December through CR with the AAA rate and then buy the AP because that rate came in lower can I switch discounts? We're thinking POLY

My understanding (as of December, 2005), is that it will be an entirely new reservation. My visit changed so many times that I was getting dizzy! Even the changes within the same dates required alll new ressies.

We did this last year. Booked AKL at AAA rate and then switched to AP when the rates came out. It took several calls before they had a AP room available, even though our room request never changed. I think because people book a room at one hotel and then change to another hotel when AP rates come out.
We booked the room we wanted... AP or not. It might be harder to book one room at a hotel, only to upgrade later if the discount is better for another. I would be afraid of hoping for the better hotel and them not having it at all when I wanted to change. If you really want the Poly, I would just book it. Good luck.
