AAA Discount & dinning ressies ?

Hello,

I need some help. I want to get the AAA rate and the dinning plan. When I called wdw direct they told me I could use one or the other but not together. I cannot have the aaa rate and buy the dinning plan. AAA rate only and no dinning plan or dinning plan and no aaa rate. She did tell me that I could call a aaa rep and get both.

Now here is my question. If I call a AAA rep and get both can I make my own dinning adr's? Will I be able to call wdw myself and book my meals? I love that part and change them all the time.

Yes, you are always allowed to book your own ADR's regardless of if you used a TA/AAA or not. The only thing you can't do is alter your reservation without going through your TA.

I'm like you - I like making my own ADR's as well - I used DU last year but made all my own ADRs.

I worried about the same thing and had no problem. I gave them both my reservation and phone number when I called dining. The only thing that is a pain is making room requests. I have to go through my AAA agent for that.

Wow. This is news. Are you saying that you can book a room with the AAA rate and get the dining plan, without buying a package, if you call AAA directly?

No, if you book a package with an AAA travel agency, you must include at least one day park ticket to add the dining plan. You have to buy a package.
