I couldn't care less. So many worse things in the world than that. I save my outrage for the horrific and outrageous.

I just think it is nuts to buy one because the parking isn't worth it.

I won't even go pick another one up and I do have AAA. I'm happier with regular parking and taking the tram.

It's not invalid. It can still be used. If I steal money from the grocer, I can still spend it. It's stolen money, but it isn't invalid.

However, I don't know if it is against DIS policy. People on here frequently talk about mailing or passing these things to each other. That's transferring too, it just isn't profitable.

So, I don't know. It may or may not be agaist the DIS rules.

But name-calling certainly is. And calling someone an animal is about as bad as name-calling gets.

I actually have more respect for the girl who said she'd do it again (use the parking pass) than I do for the poster who called her an animal (breaking a
rule) and then blamed his/her mean comment on the fact that the Future Unethical Parker drove her to it.

You follow the rules or you don't. If you don't, say so. Don't make up stupid reasons why it's okay for you to not follow them. And don't sit around pointing fingers at other people who break other rules.

The quote about animals you are referring to was about Mowgli, the boy who was raised by wolves in the Jungle Book. What that quote meant (which is clear to everyone here except you and Budafam) is that at least the wolves who raised Mowgli could blame anything bad that they taught him on being wild animals themselves. The meaning there is that wild animals don't have a conscience and know right from wrong like we humans "should". Budafam is openly stating that she would steal the use of the AAA Diamond pass again, even now that she knows it's not ok. She has done more damage to her own reputation that any of the rest of us could.

Still waiting for that quote where I specifically called the poster names....
I would hate for you to have wasted a perfectly good "glass houses" reference for nothing...

I find it funny that you call me "less honest" seeing as how you're actively promoting the purchase of counterfeit merchandise on multiple threads.

I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything. And if I were, I'd say so.

I actually discourage the purchase of the voucher because I don't think it is worth it. Look back in the thread and you'll see it.

So long as you pretend that you aren't breaking rules that you are breaking, you're less honest than the murderer who admits his guilt. You might be a better person, but less honest.

Don't you mean defending your improper use of the AAA parking pass? As far as going away, you can if you want, or you can stick around, it's your right, just like it's all our right. However, you are beginning to sound like the boy who cried wolf here, because you have said before that you're sorry to cause problems, only to come back and brag again and again about how you would knowingly use a fraudulent pass.

Im pretty sure sarcasm is another one of those things that there's a rule against (and I really, really wish you all wouldn't make me end a sentence with a preposition )! Anyway, that's just general knowledge, easy to find in the DIS rules or FAQ - no help from a Moderator.

I think that may create another problem with the parking pass. Let's say I am of the type that buys my future park passes when I have saved money for them. I go to my AAA office, purchase my passes and I also receive my AAA Diamond Parking Pass.

Now, I may or may not already have a trip booked for a specific time. If I do not have a date to travel yet determined, how is my parking pass going to be printed with a date?

I think the few bad apples are always going to exist and abuse perks like these. But thankfully, they are only a few.

Just wanted to chime in about this post. My AAA has started writing the AAA card holders name in permanent marker on the pass so only the AAA member can use it. I thin if they print them off with a name instead of a date that would be better. I believe it said the pass was for the year, not just a single trip.

I'm actually not being sarcastic. If I was, you would know it. I do think there are waaaay worse things in this world than using a parking pass from Ebay but in the end, it is wrong. I don't think it warrants anyone to make some of the comments that were made though. This is a discussion board and discussing is fine but when it gets to the point where you're insulting others, I just don't think that's necessary.

If you were driving down, couldn't you just find an AAA office in a state that gives them away? Stop and get it on the way.

This might have already been responded to as this thread is quite long but....

You need to show your card. Just because you are a AAA member in one state does not mean you can go into another AAA office and get their "perks". For example, I believe it is AAA FL (or GA) get different discounted passes than my state does.
