First class all the way.![]()
At least there's hope for his offspring...
I mean Mowgli was raised by animals and turned out just fine.

That is not the nicest thing you could have said.At least there's hope for his offspring...

I realize the idea of people using second-hand parking passes is driving some of you to distraction, but maybe you should just walk away.
The name-calling is childish and mean.

How much meaner could you get? I mean, referring to people as "animals"...I suppose you could call people worse things...I just don't know what. It's certainly not the meanest thing I could have said either. It just drives me batty when someone (anyone) continuously says "I stole, and it felt good, and I'll do it again because it's what's best for my family".
The kids aren't stealing, and it's a parking pass, not an apple.
Hopefully beginning next year Disney will only print the passes with dates on them like my pass for this trip. That will solve the problem.
I'm not sure that it is against the DIS rules to buy a parking pass from someone who bought it somewhere else. It might be, though.Plus there's the whole part where talking about bucking the system is prohibited on the DIS, and that poster keeps talking about how he's proud of doing it.

But the fact that he may have broken a DIS rule doesn't mean it's okay for you to say such mean things.
I don't mean to talk to you like you're a kid. Just reminders of things we all know but forget when we're upset.
If you want to make the point that you think X poster isn't a good person, say that. The name-calling kinda negates your statements. You can't be rolling in the mud and up on the high horse at the same time.
Just food for thought there.

I don't know if the buying a parking pass on ebay qualifies or not. I don't run the place.Or.... maybe the person who continually brags about stealing services should just walk away. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it against DIS rules to talk about how to cheat, steal, and break rules?

I don't know if the buying a parking pass on ebay qualifies or not. I don't run the place.
I do seem to recall that name-calling is not allowed, though.
So, are you a big rule follower or do you only care about following the rules you like?
It seems like you're BIG with the rule following...and yet big with the rule breaking.
Can't be lambasting one guy for rule-breaking and breaking rules at the same times, can you? Well, I guess you can. You both did.
But it seems hypocritical, doesn't it?
And please go back and find the quote where I personally called that poster names. I said he was being dishonest, because quite frankly, the actions he continues to brag about are dishonest.

It's not invalid. It can still be used. If I steal money from the grocer, I can still spend it. It's stolen money, but it isn't invalid.Ok, let's address you first sentence first. The AAA Diamond parking passes have the words "non transferable" on them. That's a fact. Don't believe me, check into it yourself. Now, once you establish that, are you aware of what "non transferable" means? It means that once the pass leaves the possession of the person it was originally issued to, it becomes invalid. Assuming we can agree on that point, the poster in question first said that he didn't know the passes he received were non transferable. Then he has said repeatedly that now that he knows he'd still happily do it again. What exactly isn't clear about the rule breaking there?

I really wasn't going to post yet again but I just wanted to ask where was I "bragging" at all in my posts? I said I would do it again, I never bragged about the close parking or anything like that. I've stated that I have ONE time purchased the passes off of Ebay.
If this isn't allowed on disboards, then why has this lasted to 7 pages? I'm not insulting anyone in my posts. I simply have stated what I have done in the past and my opinion on the subject. I don't think it warrants anyone to say the things that have been said about me or my family.
You are obviously the perfect citizen. I'm sure you've never gone a mile over the speed limit or done anything against the rules/laws. Great job!
Also, I'm a girl, not a man. Thank you & have a wonderful day![]()
Ummm, discussing any ways around stated policy, be it Disney policy or another entity's policy is expressly forbidden. The DIS is not the place to discuss illegal ways to do stuff in WDW.I'm not sure that it is against the DIS rules to buy a parking pass from someone who bought it somewhere else. It might be, though.

We purchased one off of Ebay for our trip in May. We did rope drop every morning and yeah, regular parking is actually closer if you're there that early. One day we left and came back to the parks later and then it came in handy but that was it. The nice thing was reselling it when we got home to get our money back. Next time my MIL is coming along and she's a AAA member so I think we'll take advantage of the pass again.
Sorry if it bugs you but I really don't care. It doesn't bother me one bit. I did it and I would do it again. Bottom line. Have a great day![]()
When they decide to change the way they do things, I'll roll with the punch. I'm not going to throw a stink over it. It's really NOT that big of a deal (like it seems to be to you). Till then, I guess I'm breaking the law.. "bad boys bad boys, whatcha gonna do? whatcha gonna do when they come for you?"![]()
Of all the days we were there, I never saw the AAA spots filled up. I think you all are really making too big a deal out of this.![]()
The fact remains that those parking spots are only meant for AAA members who receive their passes "legitimately". You received yours "fraudulently". I can see why it's not a big deal to you, you're using a service you did not get legitimately. I'm sure it wouldn't bother you in the least if a legitimate pass holder couldn't park in the lot because you were there first with your fraudulent pass.
What's both amazing and sad at the same time is how you continue to come back again and again and not only defend your behavior, but tell us how you'd happily do it again.![]()
]You're correct. I would.[/B]![]()
She gets around the rules. You get around the rules. You're no better. But you are meaner. And less honest.I think this is the issue- A wise person admits their mistake and moves on. You think it's FUNNY that you've committed fraud, and you'd do it again. You don't care that your actions DO impact others who are actually entitled to the perk by being AAA members. You don't care that you have no integrity, and you don't care that that is the example you're setting for your kids.
And, for the record, I never called you an animal. I simply inferred that if Mowgli could turn out OK being raised by animals, your kids have a chance despite the fact that they're not exactly being raised by someone with a moral compass.
He gets around the rules. You get around the rules. You're no better. But you are meaner. And less honest.
At least she didn't call anyone names. And she admits what she's doing.
Getting a moderator to back you up doesn't mean you didn't do it. You know it.
Your claim for usurping illegally obtained parking passes - and so, spaces - therefore validates our authority to park undisturbed in your driveway. You're correct. I would.![]()
