A Year Late, But Worth The Wait!!

Well....would you believe that I FINALLY finished your TR!!?? Holy cow...it took me forever I think I looked at each picture like it was the last When I came across the Poly pics, then I really started slowing down...as if I could go any slower?! Those early morning shots took me straight back to our Poly vacation last year...I think we had some identical pictures....it made me really miss that resort. It's hard to beat the atmosphere there!

You're very fortunate to have a 2 week trip with your parents...and to stay at 2 great resorts!! And yes, the older you get, the more you appreciate Epcot. I'm hoping that my kids still like WDW when they're 18 and 'learn' to appreciate WS, too.

Anybody that looks at your pictures can tell that yall totally had a great time together. When you're at WDW, you can get away with 'silly'! Where else in this world would I, a 39 year old mother of 3, wear a Mini Mouse shirt with Mini Mouse ears and Mickey Mouse crocks??!! The answer would be NOWHERE other than Disney....people would look at me like I had the plague.

Glad yall had such a great time! Just sorry I was so late finding your TR!

Thank you! We ad so much fun, and I truly am blessed to have such a great family! It was a lot of fun, and we tried tocapture it all with our pictures, but of course that is just impossible! SO much goes on behind the camera that make the trip so much more special!

We do get silly, but I think it's required in order to have fun! I like your example of the Mouse attire because it's so true! Disney is a completely different world! It's a great escape!

No worries! It'll be there whenever you're ready! I had gotten really behind on the TR's that I follow when we moved last week. So, I totally understand that it can be hard to get all caught up & still keep track of your own.

July 17th, 2010 (for tinkgurl )

We made our way to Japan, but we didn’t go inside the store because we had already been in a couple times. We did take lots of pics of the buildings, though!

Next up was the American Adventure! We didn’t do a lot here, but we did look in the shop…and then turned right back around because there was no A.C.!!! I took a picture of this t-shirt though because I love it!!

We continued across the world to Germany, but we didn’t stop! We were getting pretty tired at this point. We stopped in China to rest our feet, and mom placed me where Mulan sits to get her pictures!

After a bit, we continued on to Norway and Mexico, but we didn’t stop because we had decided that we wanted to go back to the resort. We were on a mission to get out of Epcot! However, I don’t think Epcot wanted us to leave just then! The monorail was down!!! We had to walk ALLLLL the way down to the last bus stop for a bus to the TTC. It was PACKED! And it was hot hot hot!!! Finally we boarded a bus, standing room only, and made it to the TTC where we had to stay on the bus for about 5 more minutes. Why? We have no idea! We were so tired; we just wanted to get off! Once we were finally off, we had to walk back to our Hawaii building! It seemed SO FAR on tired feet! Once we got back, we were starving!!! We went to the lounge where they were serving appetizers, and we had pulled pork, Asian Cole slaw, and Asian pockets with cucumber yogurt! It was sooo good and so refreshing after a long hot day!!

I loved all the pictures of Japan! That's one of my favorites in WS. Isn't it the worst when you're just ready to leave the park but it seems like you can't get back to your resort? I usually get very irritable when that happens. But, I'm glad y'all finally made it back & it sounds like y'all had some yummy food!

The food in the Poly CL is 'delish'!!!! By the way....looks like yall are going to be over my way....Hilton Head!!! excellent place to vacation. In fact my daughter was at the beach yesterday with friends.

Oh it so is delish!!! I'm drooling right now thinking about it! That's alright! At the time it was very irritaing becuase we just wanted to get back to the resort, but looking back I oddly miss those times! I mea we were in Disney for heaven's sake!

Too bad the Monorail was down. That would be one of the best parts about staying at the Polynesian- getting to take the Monorail to Epcot instead of the bus. Snacks in the lounge sound great.

I am so behind in EVERYONE'S TRs, including mine!! I have been soo busy with work, so I am super sorry to all who have been waiting for an update!! A real life update: I have recently downloaded the DisUnplugged Podcast, and let's just say I am HOOKED! I can't get enough! I listen to it at work, and I just love it! They crack me up- I feel like an idiot giggling to myself with my headphones on! I would definitely reccomend it to all Disney fans! They give great information, and provide a good laugh too!

Anyway on with the TR! When I left off, we had just returned to the hotel after a headache with the monorail and eaten yummy snacks in the lounge.

We went upstairs and lay on the bed like we were zombies! It is such a nice feeling to lie down after being up on your feet in the hot all day! We watched Keeping up Appearances and hung out on the balcony until dessert time!

We went down to the lounge to get some yummy treats before watching the Electrical Water Pageant. There were these mini Twinkie things that were very yummy, along with some other desserts that I can’t remember, of course because I didn’t take a picture of them! After our desserts, we went out to the beach to watch the parade. There were a couple kids running right in front of our view of the parade chasing the poor ducks! Mom and step dad got angry and told them to go somewhere else, and leave the ducks alone because they hadn’t done anything!

Sorry about the not so good quality of the pictures, but you get the idea. After the parade, we went back to our room to get some rest for our last day in Disney World!

You had me scared there for a second! I love spending time on the boards, but it seems I don't have the luxury of time lately!

It was a great evening! Very relaxing and the best way to spend the last few nights in WDW- just taking it all in!

The Electric Water Pageant has become a huge joke at our house. My kids love it, as well as me. DH just laughs when we talk about watching it...it's not his favorite. Not sure why we like it so much...I don't even think the silly thing has changed one bit in 20 years! The Poly Beach is such a wonderful place to enjoy anything!!
