A Year Late, But Worth The Wait!!

Those early morning Poly pictures are so beautiful! I think seeing the sunrise over Seven Seas Lagoon must be one of the coolest experiences.

Sounds like a great day a DHS so far. Tower of Terror is so much fun. :thumbsup2

Thank you, PirateKate! It was breathtaking to be up before anyone and to watch the sun rise around the lagoon. The peace and quiet were so lovely. I would have LOVED to share it with my DD (ahem), but I think she would have killed me if I'd woken her up so early! hahahaah!:lmao:

I love all the pics you guys took - the morning pics are awesome and provide a different perspective of Poly and Disney World! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great DHS day - yay on riding TSMM and ToT! Also lol at your mum wanting to take pics of you in different scenarios - sounds like something my mum would do!! :lmao:

Luckily, Emma was a really good sport about all of the picture taking! It made for some hilarity too, of course! :rotfl2:

I love all the pictures in the update! Sounds like y'all had a lot of fun picture taking! As I was reading/looking through your trip report, Reid climbed up into my chair & he saw the picture of you on the suitcases & he said, "Awww, she's cute mommy!" :rotfl2: So, you officially have a 3 year old admirer down in south Louisiana!

Thank you! We love taking pictures, so we take TONS of them! ;) Oh that is too cute! Well, I think he's very cute too! :lmao:

We really wanted to ride RNR, so we decided to head back and get FPs for later (12:20-1:20). Our FPs for TSM were ready, so we headed over to ride! I tried to take some pics of the queue because I absolutely love it!! But they didn’t come out so well.

TSM was fun like always, but I FINALLY BEAT MOM! Wooo!!! First time ever! I was so excited!

We went over to Beauty and the Beast to get good seats before the crowd came in! And it DID! There was a huge group of South Americans behind us, and guests just kept pouring in the park! We figured we should zip over to Epcot soon! Anyway, we had great seats, but since the theatre is outside, it was very hot!! It was a great show- very cute and fun! However at one point, Mrs. Pots took a tumble, and couldn’t get back up because of the costume! :rotfl2: Mom and I were dying!!! Luckily she was near the side of the stage, so she quickly was taken off, but my goodness we were laughing so hard!! We couldn’t keep it in, and people were starting to look at us!!! We tried to concentrate on the show to keep our minds off of it! Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately for the actor, I didn’t get a pic of it! My reaction time was not quick enough!

Too funny about the Mrs. Potts character falling! I wouldn't have been able to contain myself either! Beauty & the Beast is my favorite of the Disney parks stage shows. I'm hoping on our next trip I might actually get to beat Ed at TSM! That has become one of our favorite rides.

What a great way to get a preview of what it is all about!

Can't wait to take my son.

Thank you! I hope you have a great time!! :goodvibes

I know! We were laughing so hard! :rotfl: Me too! It's so fun and bright! I bet you will! I NEVER thought I would ever beat my mom (or anyone) at TSM! :rotfl: We love it!

Yay on beating mum at TSMM!! :woohoo: I'm normally rubbish at these sort of games and always end up last. Will have to see if I can do any good when I finally get on TSMM

Poor Mrs Potts - though laughed out loud when I read what had happened! :rotfl: I imagine I would have been laughing hysterically if I had seen it in person.

Oh my gosh, it was so funny when she fell! It doesn't seem like anyone else was laughing though! It was really hard to keep it together! hahahahah!

I can just picture Mrs. Potts falling down and unable to get back up. I bet everyone else was laughing on the inside.

Thank you! Haha, I was pretty psyched about that! I'm usually awful at those games too!!

Oh, it was hilarious! I'm not really sure why more people weren't laughing as bad as we were! :confused3:lmao:

:lmao: I bet they were! It was super funny!!

After the show, we went to the TOT gift shop where I bought my younger brothers (on my Dad and step mom’s side) some gifts! And mom got my aunt some gifts too! We hadn’t gotten them anything yet because we didn’t want to have to lug it around and keep track of it for 2 weeks!

We rode RNR because our FPs were ready, and we headed over to the Writer’s Stop to get a book for sep dad. On the way, we came across the American Idol Experience. This is another we’ve never done before, but we decided to slip in and see what was happening since there was a couple minutes until it started. It was so much fun!!! There were three contestants, all guys. We sang along and cheered, and really got into it! We even made it on the jumbotron!

After the show, we went to the Writer’s Stop to get step dad a book. We were hungry by then, so we decided to go back to the Dolphin for lunch because we wanted to go to Epcot next. But when we passed by a stand selling root beer and coke floats, we couldn’t pass it up! Plus we were STARVING! I had coke and my mom had root beer. They were so good! We made it to the boat, and hopped aboard just like old times! We got to the Dolphin at about 2:00, and we hustled into the Fountain where we would have lunch. We had onion rings as an appetizer. I had a cheeseburger, and mom had a Rueben.

It took forever to get our food, but once we did, it was delicious as always! After our meal, said a final goodbye to the beautiful resort and made our way to the boat dock. We were there for about 15 minutes, but while we were waiting, a couple behind us spilled their drink! :sad2: Luckily it was water, but unluckily we were standing on a slant toward the water, so their drink came right for us! It only hit my legs, so I wasn’t upset at all! We got to Epcot at 4:00ish and we started in Canada. Today we wanted to take lots of pics and do some shopping that we haven’t done all trip!

In Canada, we bought an antenna topper, bracelet, and a shirt. The French word of the day was “sirop d’érable” (maple syrup)!

I just love these guys!

Outside we kept taking pictures of the beautiful Canadian scenery.

Then we went to the U.K. where we looked around in the shops before playing around in the gardens. Mom was videotaping a lot today and she told me to “bend down like you’re lost in the maze”- cue hilarious laughter, and strange looks! :lmao:

Yay at watching American Idol and enjoying the show! I can't wait to see it.

Love the pics of the different countries - they all look so beautiful.

Lol at the maze story! :lmao: We have a giant maze at one of the parks in Manchester that I always used to get lost in. I have now nailed it and can get through it at record speed!

I enjoyed all the wonderful pics in your update - especially the World Showcase ones! I could spend hours over there just looking around.

Yeah, we had never seen it, so we thought we'd give it a go! It was a lot of fun, and I think you'd enjoy it! :thumbsup2

Thank you! It's such a beautiful area!

Mom and I get silly when we're alone together, and she was like "go crouch down and pretend you're lost in the maze!" Needless to say, it didn't work- there were lots of giggles though! :rotfl: I'm sure this one is like 10374687827th of the size of the one in Manchester! That's why it's so funny!!! But props to you for nailing the maze! :thumbsup2 I'd still be so lost!

Thank you! We love the WS! It's so pretty! I love it more now as I'm getting older, of course I always thought it was SO BORING when I was little, but now I'm starting to see the beauty and appreciate the countries more! :goodvibes We always spend so long in the WS taking pictures and shopping- It's great!
