Hi Everyone...

I wasn't on the DIS at all yesterday!

I'm actually feeling really down and have a lot of stuff going on. I've been neglecting my TR but I just feel like I don't have the ambition to work on it. Hopefully I can post a little today but honestly I don't know...

Which Disney Pandora station do you all listen to? When I type in Disney a whole bunch of choices come up.

I only use the free Pandora so I only get like 40 hours a month. I may have to upgrade now that my car has an iPhone adapter and I can listen and charge my phone!

Yes, please help with the Pandora music/radio??? thingy, I LOVE Disny music - I drive my DH and kids crazy when we go on a trip! please help with this, I think it would defiantely make some days alot sunnier!!

I love it that no one here thinks it's weird to listen to Disney songs when you are not a kid anymore. I had some Disney songs on my ipod, and I had it on shuffle while in the car with some friends and an Aladdin song came on and one friend was like "Why is this on your ipod?"

I have to say that I am NOT excited DD7 wants to see and I think it might be one of those movies where the funniest jokes are in the previews. I admit I laughed in the preview when NPH had smurfs in his pants and he was talking to a girl.

You can either go on the web (pandora.com) or download an app to your droid/iphone/smartphone ... For Disney I use the "Walt Disney (Children's Music)" channel

I want to see Winnie the Pooh but I have a feeling it will be when its on DVD before I get a chance to get to the Theater.

I agree! His ears are awful in the first pic! Just so you know, my son just bought a plush Stitch last week from DTD and it looks just like the bottom pic! So don't be too alarmed, the cute Stitch is still alive and kicking!!

I refuse to see another full length Winnie the Pooh movie until they release a Mickey Mouse one. And Fantasia doesn't count! I've been saying for years now that they need to do this, but for some reason, they haven't yet. And not Mickey's Clubhouse quality either. There is always way more Winnie the Pooh stuff everywhere than there is Mickey, so I am boycotting the bear! Lol

I am not sure what to think of the previews to the Smurfs movie. I think it looks cute. But I have loved Smurfs since I could walk, so it's just a comfort thing for me mostly I think. And I love NPH. Also liked him since childhood too!

So I just tried the Pandora thing....not available for people outside the US. Well that just stinks!

Hi everyone!
Ok, so today some guy tried to pay for his 2 frappuccinos with a fake $100 bill! We generally don't accept large bills anyway, but sometimes we make exceptions. I noticed he was acting really weird and kinda nervous. When it came time to pay he was fidgeting around with his wallet then pulled out the $100 bill from his pocket! Ok, who would have a $100 in their pocket, not their wallet? So i took it from him, instantly noticed it looked and felt fake then I said "um, we don't accept $100s....." He said he was gonna go to Walgreens (across the street) to get change but he never came back.
I wish I was able to think and react quick enough to do something about it! Like call the cops! UGH I hate that I can't think of good stuff fast enough. I am the same way with comebacks....I will think of the perfect thing to say 30 minutes later!
After he left I started to think that I should have said "Oh let me go get change for this" go to the back room and call the police! But, oh well. He got lucky this time. And now I have a plan for when/if something like that ever happens again.

Good catch on the $100. I am just like that, my smart answers always seem to come after I analyze it out.

I have a bunch of the music on my iPod. I tend to buy the soundtracks. My 18 year old recently dumped her iPod to put on new music and she added my Disney music. I feel like I have done my job.

I have the Disney and Walt Disney stations on my Pandora, and I do a Quickmix of them both. I guess I feel like I might get more variety by having two on.
And I never knew there was a 40hr limit on the free accounts! I just checked and I have 18 hrs left for the month. I have been using Pandora in place of my car radio lately so I guess I better cut that down a bit.

I actually can't find Winnie the Pooh stuff anywhere in Disneyland! I am hoping with the movie maybe there is some merchandise out... I wanted a T-shirt or new fleece and there is none to be found!

I only know of the limit because it is one of the commercials... I guess when you pay to upgrade you don't get the commercials either...

My store manager knows of my Disney obsession and now calls me Princess all the time. I love it. I was covering an operator shift today (somthing I love to do and am OCD about and she really liked what I did and wants me in there more often) and it's now officially been dubbed my Castle and she was sending me over some papers that I needed for the morning and had her little messenger tell me they were from my Fairy Godmother. Best. Store. Manager. Ever. She's awesome.

She's newish to our store. She started just as we started our remodel back in late May/early June. She's awesome and I hope she sticks around for a while. Today was especially fun and I loved feeling like I actually did something right today. I do better when I get complimented/recognized for what I do and that rarely happens in my main department, unfortunately.

I know a replacement is never going to really replace the original, because of the sentimental value attached. I hope some honest person comes across it and turns it in.

Thank you Jillian. There is so much sentimental value to me but Scotty said it all when he said that he almost lost me 4 years ago so this is a small thing.

Well I had a very lazy day. I woke up much later than usual, and that just threw me off for the entire day.

I think I am going to watch The Little Mermaid
I haven't seen that movie in years, even though it's my favorite and as a child I would watch it multiple times in one day! I don't like to over-watch stuff that has special meaning to me, so that way, when I do watch it, I get that feeling all over again.
