Sorry I missed you Paula. I went to Costco. And I wish I hadn't, I lost my wedding ring while I was there. I gave them my name and phone number hopefully someone turns it in.

I hope they find it Michele! Any idea where in the store you lost it?

My night at work was no fun!! Glad I am off tonight!

So I just tried the Pandora thing....not available for people outside the US. Well that just stinks! :sad2:
:sad2:

And I never knew there was a 40hr limit on the free accounts! I just checked and I have 18 hrs left for the month. I have been using Pandora in place of my car radio lately so I guess I better cut that down a bit.

I really wanna see Winnie the Pooh! Let us know how you liked it.
Ha! I didn't know about that either! I haven't been told that I can't listen anymore in any given month, and the ads don't bug me, so I guess I'm good with the free account :thumbsup2

Best. Store. Manager. Ever. She's awesome.
Agreed - awesome!

Thank you Jillian. There is so much sentimental value to me but Scotty said it all when he said that he almost lost me 4 years ago so this is a small thing.
:lovestruc

I think I am going to watch The Little Mermaid :goodvibes
I haven't seen that movie in years, even though it's my favorite and as a child I would watch it multiple times in one day! I don't like to over-watch stuff that has special meaning to me, so that way, when I do watch it, I get that feeling all over again. pixiedust:
The Little Mermaid is one of my all-time faves too. I think you will love the ride in DCA. We rode it lots, and it brought me back to the movie everytime. Animatronic Ariel still looks a bit odd, but the music and everything else totally takes me into the movie. I especially love the fact that DCA now has a ride in that area that you can pretty much walk on to even on busy days :thumbsup2

So my cold is still hanging on ... in general I feel better but I have to keep flushing my sinuses out, blech. Then last night DD7 came down with it  She just woke up and is on the couch watching Wall-E on the disney channel. Sigh. Probably gonna be a loooooooooooong day :(

Just a quick check in......had a fun day at the zoo on Weds & met up with a couple Dis Divas, then yesterday twins had to go back to Portland for a feeding clinic. Got some help on figuring out all of Shy's food allergies & making sure she's getting a healthy balance. They also told me that we need to give Michayla 15-20oz of water on top of her 4 g-tube feeds......holy moly.....that's a ton, her little belly will slosh & explode if we try to increase her fluids that much......lol

Back is killing me this week......mattress has got to go....with my fibromyalgia, I feel like Mike beat my back with a baseball bat.....might find myself sleeping on the couch until our money comes in (if it comes in with the govt budget woes....ugh)

Hope everyone's doing good........will try to stay current, not up to reading back at this point.

 Michele, I'm still thinking of you & hoping your ring will show up!!......I know it's not on the same level, but Shy lost her blanket (THE blanket) at the zoo & we really hoped someone would turn it in but we haven't heard anything, so it's gone......hope which ever family decided they needed it, enjoy keeping a baby blanket from it's original owner.....shameful!!

what a fun Wednesday Laurie! Wow,it sounds like you have a full plate with health issues

So not on the same level as the ring or the favorite blanket, but about a month ago I left my ray-bans (read: nice sunglasses for me, they cost $100-something!) at the ophthalmologist office which is in a big hospital ... I was SO relieved when someone turned them in to the receptionist. Yesterday afternoon after Winnie the Pooh (which was super cute by the way, DD7 and I totally enjoyed it) we were browsing the jewelry section of Forever 21 and I saw these sunglasses on the case, I picked them up to look (thinking it was F21 merchandise) but then noticed the made in Italy, Ray Ban logos ... yeah, definitely NOT something F21 sells :rotfl: I turned them in to one of the cashiers, hopefully that person gets them back!

I love Wall-E! I was watching it yesterday too :goodvibes (Did I mention yesterday was my lazy day? ;)) I hope you both get better soon! It is no fun being sick in the summertime.

Laurie, that's too bad about the blanket :( Sorry to hear about your back as well. I hope the check arrives soon! Sounds like you could really use it at this point.

YAY that you found your glasses, and yay for you doing the right thing with the other person's glasses! I am glad to hear that Winnie the Pooh was good....I really wanna see it. Everytime the commercial comes on with that Keane song, makes me wanna see it even more! I might have to wait till it's out on DVD or at least on demand on my TV because I don't think many of my friends are interested in seeing it. I wish my little cousins still lived pretty close, that way I could take them or something.

Happy Friday everyone! (even though it's my Sunday )

Happy Friday everyone! (even though it's my Sunday )

I'm not sure what day it is for me! It would normally be my weekend off but I am working Sunday for someone so only have one night off...

On Good News I finally got approved for having the time off in October I wanted!!

I actually ended up with more time than I intended since I wasn't able to switch my days off and just found someone to work for me and I am using my vacation. I'm now off Sept 27 - Oct 6. I'll probably just keep my original plans though unless I find anyone else to join me. I can only handle so many days solo at the parks!

We arrive on the afternoon of the 30th & will be in the parks the 1st thru the 7th, leaving on the 8th. I'm so glad you're gonna be there!!

:cheer2: Are you both planning on doing the Trick or Treat party on Monday evening??? We are!!

I definitely am and I believe Jess is as well! I plan to attend the first one as well. I really wanted to attend 2 parties this year as I felt like I missed a lot last year.

Awesome!! We're doing 2 as well. The Monday will be our first one & we'll do the trick or treating, parade & fireworks (you know....all of it) lol & the 2nd one on Friday, we'll do the parade & fireworks, but take advantage of the smaller crowds to hit some rides as this will be our last night in the park!! I didn't feel we'd need to hit the candy lines twice...I'm sure we'll have more than we ever could use on the first night!

I would sooo love to join you guys if I could afford to get down there! I felt like I missed a lot too because of the rain last year. Also my brother wasn't as enthusiastic to get to see things as I was, so we kind of lolly gagged. And I would love to do a mini girls trip or something. Maybe not something as big as the Divas, but just a few of us.

Sorry to hear about your back Laurie. That sounds awful. Hopefully your check arrives soon!

And Jillian, I would love your lazy day! Lol. I try to have lazy days, but they get interrupted by a hungry baby and housework! Still tempted to watch a Disney movie or two though. Might as well get him started now!

Your Lazy days have seen there end for awhile I am afraid!

I hope they find it Michele! Any idea where in the store you lost it?

We back tracked everywhere we went and checked in the coolers etc. I hope someone finds it though.

Actually I think her blanket is a worse loss. I can rationalize and even except my loss but Shy can't the poor thing.

Get them started young!!

I would so love to go for Halloween since so many other DISers will be there at the same time but I don't know if I can make that happen yet. Sounds super fun though, I've always wanted to do a Halloween party too.

I would be devastated if I lost my childhood blanket. But I get pretty attached to things like that. I still have mine up in my closet where it's safe! :)

Thanx everyone.......it was bad.....I can't believe we lost it in the first place. I almost have to wonder if someone grabbed it out of our stroller seat. Shy walked most of the zoo, but occassionally grabbed her blanket for a cuddle. If it fell out or got dropped....someone in our group of 14 would have noticed. I can't believe someone would steal a child's blanket! or Keep a blanket they found. Wouldn't they understand the attachment a child would have....especially since it was brought into the zoo!!

Word of advice Andrea......if you find your son gets attached to a certain blanket....get a backup one. (one to wash & one for him to have). We kinda had this, as Michayla had a matching one. So Shy scooped that up when we got home. Luckily Michayla isn't attached to anything, so we could do that.....but still!

I'm pretty upset about losing it, as those were the blankets we got for the twins when they were still in the NICU.....so it was like losing a piece of her past. :sad1: Getting choked up just writing that.....

I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday. One year I will make it there one year for it!!

Kody was majorly attached to hers, both her and Loren but she was far worse.

I am so sad about that Laurie.

I have a blanket story for you all. When my sister married my BIL my nephew was around four years old. Ryan was very attached to his blanket. Being from a split home it was a true source of security for him, and moving away from my parents and I where I had been his major caregiver. Well BIL didn't like him having a blanket so he took it away from him while he was a sleep and threw it away. I to this day think that was one of the cruelest things I had ever seen.

:scared1: That's horrible!!! Nothing like scarring the child for life! My 24 yr old still has his baby blanket & sleeps with it. :goodvibes

Back from work. It figures that after an awesome day yesterday today was just lame. Someone took my food, someone misplaced my equipment and I have no idea where it is and 100% need it tomorrow night, I could go on but I'll spare you all the details. Sigh. But I have a plan to make it as OK as it;s going to be under the circumstances

Hehe. Us. :grouphug:
