Had a really fun night last night with the family. My MIL is leaving for the Philippines today (her dad, DH's grandpa, is really sick ) so we had a dinner for her. DS18 and his girlfriend played Disney SceneIt with DD7 and it was so funny to watch. Most of the questions were pretty easy, with the exception of all the clips from "Home on the Range". I don't even remember that movie

Glad I'm not the only one it happens to. Now that I've figured out how to use the thumbs buttons it's gotten a lot better and more and more obscure Disney songs I love are finding their way in. The last few times I've had it on at work haven't played a single non-Disney song. It just took a little training is all!

Question: Why are people so scared of the swinging cars on Mickey's Fun Wheel? I am terrified of heights, and with all the stories I have heard, I was a little leery of going on these on our last trip. But I did, and I braced myself, but it was nothing. They look bad when you watch, but it doesn't feel like anything. I just don't get it, lol.

Oh dead wizard god, not happening! You cannot pay me to go onto the regular ones on that darn thing, let alone the swinging ones. But I think a lot of people don't realize what they're getting onto until they are on and aren't prepared for it?

Haha, it's not bad at all! I guess I am only afraid of heights if I know I am not secure. Tell me to walk up a ladder or stand on the edge of a cliff and it will not happen. But I am ok with a ferris wheel. Well that one. I am not a fan of the classic ones that you can rock on your own. Thanks to my Dad, I am terrified of those for life! But this one is fine. And you get a sweet view to boot!

I think it's fun! I remember the first time I went on it, when it was still the sun wheel, I was not expecting it to swing that much. But after the initial shock, it was fun. I could see how some people, especially those scared of heights, might not like them.

I'm only repeating what someone said in a TR that she had no idea she was getting into the swinging one until it was too late. I've never even come close to finding out. I don't do ferris wheel's to begin with and despite getting me on TOT I have no intention of getting on Mickey's Fun Wheel of Death.

Ugh, tough day at work. To make a long story short I got accused for doing something that I really didnt do. Since my boss knows me well enough to know I wouldnt do something that dishonest and i dont have anything against me in my work history he let me off with a verbal warning when the district manager would have rather me gotten a much more serious write up. Thank gooodnesd my boss likes me and trusts me.
I'm listening the Disney pandora channel to cheer up "under the sea" is definitely helping

Thanks! It was just a stupid situation and misunderstanding I guess. But that's in the past and I am trying not to let it stress me out anymore

... and sometimes it's dumb and plays random things! Until you use your "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" options so it can learn what you like.

That is amazing!!! Mine keeps playing music from Mulan and Princess and the Frog. Which is fine, but I would like some variety.

I will admit it plays that song that Sulley and Mike sing in Monsters Inc way more than anything else, but for the most part I get a very good variety now.

I love it that no one here thinks it's weird to listen to Disney songs when you are not a kid anymore. I had some Disney songs on my ipod, and I had it on shuffle while in the car with some friends and an Aladdin song came on and one friend was like "Why is this on your ipod?"

Haha! By now nobody I know would not be surprised in the least. They are more surprised when they get in my car and hear ACDC than anything Disney I could possibly be playing. Especially everyone at work. I always have it on when I'm prepping the Ad in our offices and a few people got a giggle out of it at first but by now it's just common knowledge.
