I need to make a grocery list for tomorrows shopping but I just can't get excited about it.
You must not be hungry.

I have a feeling that will be us tonight, but we'll see, lol. It's all in one big flat box, so maybe that means that the bars come already assembled these days? Here's to hoping!
It also came with rails to turn it into a double bed later on. So it pretty much is ready for our childs entire life. Just need the matresses! Lol.

Pretty nice Vinyl collection you have going on Andrea. I love the new pirate one. How exciting, you have the crib.
I remember watching Jon years ago build our crib's. All the cursing and swearing when something didn't go right.![]()

I will for sure post a photo or two when it's done. It's a dark brown colour. This weekend we are (well Dillon is) painting the dresser and change table to match it, as they are all different colours, and that just doesn't work for me. I will also post photos when the whole room is done.

I wouldn't even put it together until the nursery is painted they are really a pain to move around to get it our of your way.
They better NOT! My all time favorite cereal is Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch and I love the other two flavors al well.

Sherri - You've said before how much we have in common. This just caught my attention because Peanut Butter Crunch is my favorite cereal too!And Crunch Berries is my second favorite from the Cap'n!
Honestly, I can't keep stuff like that around here because there is too much sugar in it and no substantial protein, and it will totally mess with my blood sugar.
But if I were to eat cereal on a rare occasion, and if I were going to go the 'extra-sugary/no nutritional value/might as well be a dessert' route with my cereal, it would be Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch!! That's always been my favorite! (And then it would be Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles and Cocoa Krispies as runners up in the junky cereal category!)
Hmm a cereal for dessert I like how you think Sherry!!
See! So many Cap'n Crunch fans. Although I am only a fan of the plain ones myself. We actually don't have the berry ones anymore, and I am not sure that we ever had the peanut butter kind.
But Pepsi's reasoning was that they are trying to make it so all of their cereals are a bit healthier and apparently Cap'n Crunch they can't do anything with it to make it better for you. Which I can get their point, but still. They need to keep it!
We have had far more electrical storms this year than we normally do. It usually is years in between.
That's right, Michele! Let's face it - some of those cereals are so sweet, they may as well be desserts.
Andrea -
Yayfor the Cap'n and his Crunch-tastic cereals!

While I agree with Pepsi about the yummier cereals like that one not being healthy - really, there is no nutritional value in the sugary cereals at all - I think there should be a place for those cereals on the shelf, for people to use at their discretion. I love love love 3 Musketeers bars and Nestle Crunch bars but can only eat them once in a very blue moon (like every couple of years)...but I would be mad if someone decided to yank them from the shelves because they are not healthy. I think that people can eat those things as a treat and should have them available.
Pepsi in and of itself is not healthy. Soda is not healthy. So if they are going to get rid of the Cap'n's cereals, are they also going to stop making Pepsi?
If I were going to drink soda (and I tend to drink it when I'm at DLR, but not at home), I drink Coke. But Coke is liquid sugar too.

Our room is right next to the baby room, so it should be too much trouble. I at least need to open it up and inspect it to make sure there is no damage (UPS doesn't have a great track record) so that we can take it back to costco if need be. Hopefully not.

Oh we get them sometimes several times a week in the summer. Usually doesn't start until about June though, so this is odd for it to be going on now. Still like the sound of thunder more than I like snow though.
I agree. Just because it's unhealthy, it doesn't mean they should get rid of it. I don't usually eat it in the morning for breakfast, I try to eat a little healthier first thing, but I like to have it for a night time snack once in a while. I love cereal as a snack. Also, my Dad's girlfriend has this great recipe for Cap'n Crunch Chicken Fingers, and it is delicious. My favourite! If I can get the recipe from her, I will pass it on, cause it seriously needs to be tasted by everyone! Lol.
