A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

We sing the song all the time also.
I hope that you are having a great time at the zoo. It is apretty day in here in Georgia so hopefully you are having the same weather.

Tennessee had pretty Georgia weather, too!

Thank you for the Pop Century pictures this morning, they brightened by day, and many thanks for all the shopping pictures. I love to Disney shop(by just looking).

Sending good wishes your way at the Zoo today and a restful place to place your feet tonight. I am looking forward to maybe a few zoo pictures of the girls.

I am glad you enjoyed the Pop pictures.

I have my leg up on pillows right now. :)

I love all the morning pictures and I definitely remember the chocolate cake song!! My parents had me trained on Bill Cosby since i've been little!! I can still laugh at everything, I used to get a kick out of the dentist part!! The picture of the bus sure gave me butterflies I can't believe how close I am (yet so far, hmph)

You're in single digits!
That's almost close enough to be able to smell the bus fumes!

Hey MeMom, is the Design-A-Tee very expensive? Just curious. :) Hope you are doing well and had fun at the zoo!

It is kind of pricey, in my opinion, but it was doing a great business. Being able to personalize shirts and take them home within hours is pretty cool.
We got Jarvis a 2XL, and I think it was about $28.

MMMmmm....Cracker Barrel. Delicious!

Good finds at the Disney Store. Cheap tees! :thumbsup2
I wish they had prices like that here.

Sounds like the zoo was a fun time today, and special with your "VIP guests". ;)

I'll forgive you for mentioning the snakes, but only this once. :rotfl2:

Wow, Drew is one tough guy. I'm glad his injury doesn't give him much trouble anymore. Is he back to skating?

Jarvis must have been so happy with his tee. Maybe he will wear it this summer during the trip.
I can't wait to see your pics of Design a Tee store.
I want to make a Christmas tee there when we go in August.

I hope your leg feels better after you rest it.

Now that you're staying in all the fancy-schmancy places, you might not like Pop so much. I hope you do, though.

You've still got 38 days until you go on your next trip and you're already planning a 2010 trip.
Seriously? Who does that??? :rolleyes1

Oh, we will love any resort that we stay at -- we had such a great time at Pop when we stayed there before.

Well, MIL said she would love to do Disney the way we do Disney, so I had to start thinking...:rolleyes1;)

Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your girls. :goodvibes

Your Pop pictures are getting me so excited! Only 44 more days! I've totally been slacking on our PTR, as school has had me busy.

The zoo trip sounds fun! Glad Jill and the girls could join you!

It's just a matter of time before he feels like Bella is big enough to make her first official Bubby flight up high and into the air as he buzzes around the room and goes dangerously close to the ceiling fan while Jill and I gasp and say, "Don't hit the fan!" and he calmly says, "I've got it all under control."

Yes, that was a run-on sentence, but that is just exactly how it goes.
Who cares if it's a run-on sentence, it's absolutely precious!!! :goodvibes

Being in Disney World on my birthday is very nice.

:yay::woohoo::yay: I CAN'T WAIT to plan my birthday-day at Disney!!!!! That's one thing I've always wanted to do there and I'm VERY excited!!

Don't think we will be doing all 4 parks but I'm pretty sure we are going to do a character meal. Which I think would be REALLY fun!! And I told Mel I wanted to go to MK to see the castle lighting show....I know imagine that  and then maybe we could go watch Illuminations or something. They are having a Christmas party that night but I don't think we'll go. With it being a Sunday and our first day I'm not sure that I want to do the party.

7 MONTHS TODAY!!!! :cool1: :dance3: :cool1:

Brooklynn!
Hopefully I'll get to see you guys soon!

I hope they do great things with this side in the future.

Unfortunately b/c of how long they have sat like this they will prob have to tear these completely down and start over. It just amazes me that places, especially Disney, will just let something go unfinished like that. I'm sure there's a reason, but you would have thought they could have finished it out :confused3

Also makes me think of Opryland.....but we won't go there

Back to the living side of Pop.

And the bridge to nowhere.....or Now-Here as the Love Guru says :rotfl:

And I'm on my way to Nashville Zoo!
Jill and the girls are meeting me there, so I'm very happy about that! princess:

I hope you guys had a WONDERFUL time!!

If you had some rain hopefully it was not much and short lived. We only had sprinkles here :upsidedow

I was at home all afternoon I could have come

Thought I would post some pictures of my sweet girls.

Brooklynn read a book to Bella before bed the other night.

This weekend in KY.

Yesterday morning before church.

Yesterday was the first time Drew met Bella. We forced him to hold her to take a picture. We took one and he tried to hand "it" off to MeMom. Yes, her uncle D called her it. His exact words were "Okay, take it now."

Have a marvelous Monday everyone!

Ooooh, so precious!! I think I spot some build-a-bear's on Brooklyn's bed!!! Hollie has that same rabbit! :)

LOL!!! Take it now!!!!! That reminds me of a friend of mine when she and her hubby had their first child! He was so scared and would call her an it!!!

We both had chicken and dumplings. We ate half and both of us had enough for another meal! So good!

The t-shirts were cute, and since they were so cheap we decided to get them for each of the kids for Saturday. The day is all about doing a pretend Disney trip for Brooklynn, and since we almost always come home with at least one new t-shirt from a Disney trip, we thought they'd be a perfect prize for one of the games.

We saw sssseveral sssslithering ssssnakes. The kids thought they were sssso cool! ;)

Drew is a bike rider. He does all those wild tricks up in the air. They're pretty scary looking, but he and his friends have a passion for that pretty much like our Disney passion. He'd much rather be traveling around the country riding different bike parks than going to a Disney park. I don't understand the thrill, but to each his own.

I haven't seen Jarvis much lately. He comes over sometimes after workouts later in the evening, but all the guys are usually in the kitchen chowing down and I'm back in my bedroom getting settled in for the night. I expect he is wearing his t-shirt often, because he seemed to love it. I'll try to think to get a picture of him in it sometime so you can see it.

She's in for a treat! It'll be so much fun for her to see Chelsea and Connor doing the Disney thing like they do. I love trips with Brooklynn, and I look forward to many future trips with many future grandkids.

44 days! That's half of what we have. When you get to 30 days, it's going to fly by! I've been waiting for more PTR. :) I hope school calms down and lets you get to more important things, like Disney planning!

:yay: I CAN'T WAIT to plan my birthday-day at Disney!!!!! That's one thing I've always wanted to do there and I'm VERY excited!!

A Disney birthday is awesome. If you get to see your castle and ride Haunted Mansion on your birthday, you'll be in heaven!

If I had known you weren't at work, I would have called you. Jill and the girls just came to my school and hung out the rest of the afternoon, and then we went to the Disney Store. You could easily have joined us. I'll call or text you Saturday if we end up going to the mall before your stuff Saturday night. We'll be doing the Disney Day stuff through lunch time. If Jill thinks Brooklynn can hold out, we may go on to Opry Mills after that. We have to stop by and see another friend, but we're flexible on when we go by there. You said you had something to do around 5 or 6, I think, so if we end up going to the mall around 1 or 2 or 3, would that work for you, or should we just plan on meeting another time? We've still got the tinkgurl Meet Me at the Hippo thing scheduled for June 20th, too. Are you coming to that?

She does have a couple of Build-a-Bear friends. Sleepy Puppy is her newest.

Maybe someday Drew will have a baby of his own,
but it should be a someday a long time from now. :rotfl:

Love these bags!!

Me, too!

I'm glad I had some food pictures to offset the bag pictures, though.
Gotta keep the menfolk tuning in!

I will try and get some zoo pics up later today. I have both girls at home due to the swine flu striking Huntsville. There were two cases at a local elementary school yesterday so all schools, day cares and public parks are closed until Monday. Brooklynn had a dentist appt. this morning (no cavities and her two broken front teeth still look good) and then we ran and got some groceries. Came home and ate lunch and now she is asking to go to sleep so I think I'm going to feed Bella and then we are all going to curl up and take a long nap together.

Interesting.
I have read your glowing reports about Liz before. I think being a Disney travel agent would be a fun job. Getting paid to make magic happen for others...yep, sounds good to me! :wizard:

Maybe when we finally move back to florida and i work at disney again maybe i'll look into that. either way i want to work at disney again.

your nature pictures were spectacular! looks professional.

congrats on your ADR's.

i really hope that i'll be able to be in florida at the same time as you guys.

jill enjoy your nap with yout 2 little princesses

A Disney birthday is awesome. If you get to see your castle and ride Haunted Mansion on your birthday, you'll be in heaven!

I can't WAIT!!! I of course would like to ride HM but it's not a must on that day. I will prob get to do it enough throughout the week. I just want to see the Castle

As far as I know that's it....just let me know whatever you guys decide is fine. You can just call or send me a text when you know what you are going to do. I'll get to see you sometime soon!

Not positive about the 6-20 mtg. We'll see what's going on closer to time :upsidedow Maybe Dawn could plan to come up that weekend :yay:

Now that doesn't sound like a busy day at all. Enjoy the nap time.

Jill,
How scary about the outbreak.

BTW any good tips for taking a little one to WDW during the summer? I am starting to think about Luke and his needs and want to be prepared. I have never had a less than one year old there in the heat

Caleb and I are home sick today and I took naps when he took his two today...man that felt great. I think naps like 2 hr ones need to happen at work! :rotfl: Hope you all had a great nap!

The girls both had great naps. However, they took their naps at completely separate times so I got no nap! I swear they planned it because Isabella refused to wake up a little early to eat and then as soon as Brooklynn closed her eyes Bella started fussing to eat and then refused to go back to sleep. Oh well at least they both got naps.

LOL!! It won;t be the last thing they come up with together either...:rotfl: Sorry you didn;t get your nap...I'm sure you could use it!

In other news...I just got my first pin code today!! Too bad its not for when I want to go! Lets hope they send me more!
