If I wanted my spelling and grammar corrected, I would ask someone. But not the person who once changed the word "verbiage" in a memo I wrote to "verbage" because I spelled it wrong![]()

She noticed it on her copy before the partner saw it, then questioned if I had seen it. I told her yes and she asked why I hadn't stopped copying and corrected it. I told her it wasn't my job, I'm "just" a secretary. 
Since the red underline thing came out on web browsers, I have become A LOT less careful with my spelling. I just wait to see if something I type gets underlined, if nothing is underlined, I figure everything is fine. I will also guess at words, and then use the suggestion to correct my spelling.

It doesn't really bother me - and I'm sure I've made my fair share of mistakes over the years - but I suppose I can see how it might bother others.. We all have our own quirky things that tend to bug us.. For me, spelling on a message board just doesn't happen to be one of them..
