A Summer Wedding and a Disney Trip CANCELLED, HELP DECIDE WHEN WE'LL GO IN 2011

I've never heard any bad luck stuff about wedding rings or pictures of them. Don't know on that one. Pop Century will be really cool. I'd like to stay there sometime because I really like the theming. I might get my chance when we go in November for my parent's Disney Vow Renewal. Your wedding location is beautiful. I'm sure everything will be so nice and pretty. Can't wait to see pics of your rings and the dress when you find it.

Oh, good, i'll post pics of them as soon as we get them. He told us Manny's should be ready on friday and monday for mine!

have to agree with Leanne; never heard anything about bad luck w/the rings before...
the POP is probably will be where we are staying too; esp, if I go with two rooms...I too like the decor there, and I like that they have their own bus.

Are you guys taking an early flight in or a late one like us?
We want to take the 6:40PM flight to Orlando on Monday 9/20, so we will probably be arriving at Pop a little before 10pm. So, we will probably take a swim if its not too late, eat, or walk around the resort. I think POP century is an awesome place to take the kids. Everything is sooooo bright and cheery . Like I said, my family and I are mostly in the parks most of the time, so there is really no use in me forking out the extra cash for a mod or deluxe. Plus it really has that Disney feel too it !!!!


I also think that it is AWESOME to register for Disney!!!!! That way you don't have to worry about getting a crockpot or anything like that , and it will help you toward your trip/souvenirs. Let me tell you, if you plan on getting a cake like Ann's, which is absolutely GORGEOUS and looks delicious- don't forget to mail a piece to NJ And I cannot wait to see those rings !!!!!

Actually, we are changing our dates to 9/19 -9/27. So we'll be getting there on sunday instead of monday! And staying until the following monday! So, we'll already be there waiting for ya

When I found out about the disney honeymoon registry I was super excited. We've been living in this house for 8 years now, what would I register for? I'm sure I could think of stuff but, nothing better than having the trip almost paid off. Now that's a gift

POP is great, it holds a special place in my dd's heart b/c we stayed there our first trip. I had to convince her that ASMU would be fun too b/c just wanted to go to Pop again!

Yeah, for the values I was torn between POP and an All star music suite. Thats where we were going to stay originally! The suites looks very nice and spacious! More than 2 connecting rooms!

So, I am HAPPY today! And the trip came out to be a little cheaper than what I priced online

And now i'm off to shower, pick up Sam and then do some laundry! I have to work tonight, so gotta get it all done before 3:30!

AND GUESS WHAT??????????? This weekend , i'm going to sit down with the girls and make the Disney honeymoon registry.

So, i'm thinking, i'm not going to tell them today, even though i'm so excited, I want to go pick them up from school and tell them now I think i'll wait til sunday night and have a little Disney party and i'll print out the confirmation email and we'll go to the dollar tree and get all of our stuff to make our countdown calendar. That will be a fun Disney night!!!!!!!!!!!

OH AND GUESS WHAT????????? I booked using my new last name. I gave him my name at the beginning of the call and when I started giving everyone else's names it dawned on me that, that will also be my name by September. So I booked our package with my new last name. That was pretty cool. My last name is finally the same as the kids and Manny! So, the kids will get a kick out of it when the Disney mail starts coming in with the last name!

I know if it is offered for us- we will save almost 300.00 for the three of us, and you have three more than I do and are staying a few days longer so I know that will help alot!!!!!! So congrats and I am going to do the "Three Mouseketeer" dance (heheeheh I came up with that all by myself ) for you, Ann, and I !!!!!!!

Oh, yes the free dining saves us a pretty penny I tell ya! As you can imagine with the price comes out to with 4 "adults" and 2 kids!

Yes, we did QSDP in May and loved it. So, now i'm going to think about if we just want to stick with that cause it's paid for, or see if we can upgrade. I'll think about that one!

I'm pretty sure we have decided to just pay OOP for 3 TS meals and that just makes our QSD stretch even farther. I think we will be barely walking out of WDW we will be so stuffed by the end of the week!

Oh, you guys are sticking with the QSDP! I didn't think of paying OOP for a few meals, figuring that would almost cost what the upgrade would, but not really when you add in the upgrade, tips, and mugs! Which after last trip with the mugs, I don't think we could live without them! They were wonderful!

So, maybe i'll do a character meal and a special honeymoon meal, which I believe would be Coral Reef!!!! And then stick with the QSDP!

It can be booked 180 days out. She told me I can make my reservation on March 23rd. They take a credit card to hold it, but payment for the cruise is payable in Disney at the location you are getting the boat from. Oooo, now I have to think about that. Not that it really matters, they'll all be on the same lake.

There is a basic pkg for 266.55 (tax included) for up to 8 guests, it includes snacks and drinks.
Then there is the Celebration pkg for 291.25 (tax included) which is the same pkg only they add decorations according to what you're celebrating. SOOOO, I think it is worth the 20something extra dollars for that!

So, another exciting thing down!!!!

Eh, I'm over the CBR, just glad we're going to Disney. As soon as I thought about how much we would save at the value with QSDP I was no longer dreaming of CBR, I was having nightmares that I wouldn't be able to pay for the trip If we did CBR we wouldn't be able to do all of the extra stuff that we want! So, maybe next trip will be there, we when don't have a wedding to pay for in the same year
Yeah, I figured 20something extra dollars really is nothing when your paying 300. The decorations will just make the surprise more personal.

We signed Lizzie up for basketball yesterday!!! She came home from school with the signup sheet, all excited. She carried it around all night! It's an instructional league for second graders. That is so cute. It's going to be on sunday afternoons throughout the winter. They will be calling us to let us know when they start. Lizzie is so excited, she really does love sports. The past few years it's been baseball!
I can't wait to go sit and watch her!

We're going wedding dress shopping on sunday!!!!! And our rings should be coming in, in a few days
