A size 8 is now considered XL??

My sister did that with size 9s. She'd left an unused package of size 9s at my mom's and I had to get into them one day and I'm all happy because YAY! I fit into 9s!!! Woohoo! I fit into a 9!

But then I found out that a 9 underwear wasn't such a good thing. I'm still not over the shock and disappointment.

Okay who is the idiot who came up with a sizing system that sounds like pant sizes but is in actuality a totally different sizing system ? In fact, why can't women's clothing be like men's clothing and come in either S M L XL or else actual measurements? Why are numbers just made up for us ?

Thats one of the features of Chico's brand clothing. All sizes are either 0,1,2,or 3. A 1 is the equivalent of a 8/10. Thats my size and I love being able to say I'm a 1 I feel much thinner that way - its all a mind game thing, imho.
