A Rumblee in my Tumblee Pre-Trip Report

Madeline WILL be wearing that thing until she can prove she'll hold onto our hands.

Did you see that the crowd levels are now at 8's and 9's for May. OMG!

I enjoyed reading your PTR. Our kids are about the same age. My daughter will be 2 in just a couple of weeks & my son will be 5 in June. I can't wait to take them to WDW!!!

Well if you ever need another one let me know! HA-HA I have a cute little Monkey backpack that will never be used!

I know!! I was watching that May Crowd Thread and it freaks me out. I went the week after xmas one year - it was REALLY crowded. Last time was in September/free dining and it was SO nice. No crowds! I thought May was going to be a little busier but NOT 8 or 9's!!

I guess, I will stick to the plan- I have an ADR each morning at 8:05 and then a lunch ADR around 12 or 1 and then we plan on leaving the park each day and going back to the hotel. I just hope the mornings are lower crowds like they say they always are!! My husbands Birthday is May 6th. He will get those 4 FP for each person in our group instead of the Gift Card if it is really busy- that will probably help a little!

LOL..
This is really cute (don't tell your DH i said this!! LOL)

We (me, sis, bro) never had a 'cool' dinner like this when we were younger. I think I learn something new everyday on the DIS. :lmao:

Now the pressure's on. I need to come up with something like this for our DD. It would probably have to be a princess dinner though!princess: Nice job!

Tim

You did an awesome job! I wish I could hire you to decorate for Madeline's birthday party tomorrow!

Thank you! We had lot's of fun with this one. Gotta love the Dollar Store!! $8.00 for the decorations. Can't beat that!! Good luck tomorrow with Madeline's party.

Thanks Tim! You should really do a Disney Night for your DD. Keep the Magic Alive!! I think we will still be doing them once we get back. I have all boys though and have been begging for a girly night for awhile. We have 5 more Disney nights left before the big trip and I am going to try to squeeze in Beauty and the Beast!

The Peter Pan party looked fantastic! Nonnie's cake was adorable!! You must have every Disney play set, I'm jealous! ;) I need to get my pirate booty organized enough to have more Disney nights!:rotfl:

Thanks Wendy! Myles LOVES "guys" so yes, he has every playset except for the tinkerbell and princess set. We are waiting for the Bolt guys to be released!

This is just so fun! What festive decorations and nice family time... SO cool... I am looking forward to doing something like this after I do the surprise, or on the next trip! Cake looked yumm!:goodvibes

Thanks!! I didn't even have any cake! BOO!! I am REALLY trying and have LOST 5 POUNDS this week!

:cheer2:

Love the new PJ's! Peter Pan night looked like a blast! Congrats on the 5 lbs!

My Disney nightmares are usually about loosing my luggage or camera. I bought my kids silicone bracelets with our cell phone numbers on them. I have to say I did loose my youngest once for about 30 seconds. I had met about 10 other disers for dinner at MGM at Hollywood & Vine one night and my DD pulled out of my DH's hand as we left the restaurant-he thought she found me but she didn't. We all went to get our photo taken and DD wasn't there. I found her right away in front of the restaurant and there were already 2 CM's with her. She was on the ground crying. They didn't even notice her bracelet. It was scary 30 seconds but the good thing that came from this was she still remembers it and doesn't pull away from us any more and I have since explained that she doesn't have to talk to the CM's-she's really shy-she can just give them her bracelet and they will call us.

Love the Peter Pan night idea. Looks like a bunch of fun. Great job on everything!:goodvibes I need to come up with something for the girls....

Good idea on the bracelet!! That is so scary- That must have been the longest 30 seconds of your life.

Thank you!!! We did have a great time. Lucky you- I am still waiting for a girls Disney Night- we have 5 Friday's left before the big trip. I think I am going to sneak in Beauty and the Beast or Enchanted!!

Have you done Alice in Wonderland? That might be a good one since it has the mad hatter and other characters the boys might enjoy. :) Although being boys, they'd probably like the Beast too.

Wow, great looking party. I have got to get a couple of Disney Parties done before our trip. Looking at this party really inspired me, I just might start doing them weekly as well. Sunday nights would be perfect for us. Ya know what, I am. This sunday will be our first one. I know there is a thread somewhere with a ton of ideas for this. And that cake was amazing!!!
:thumbsup2 Good Job Nonnie!!!

You're boys must be enjoying these parties so much!!!!!!!!!

You know, We tried this one and I got all the decorations and we were all excited for it and then we discovered WE DON"T OWN THIS MOVIE! LOL
I called a million places to rent it and nobody has it. I even posted on my face book page for any friends/family to let me borrow it. Nobody has it!

Thank you! The boys love these nights. Our neighbors are actually going to Disney at the same time as us (we have a big breakfast at CP on our first day all together to kick off the trip) They have come over for Disney Night and we are planning a "Night before Disney" Night with them. It should be great. We are going to get Pizza, make autograph books, go over our plans, and watch the Planning DVD's! Make sure to post some pictures so I can see how your night went. Have fun with it!! Here is the link to MANY awesome ideas!!!

oh hmm. Have you checked the library? that's my plan. I think my parents have it on VHS from when they used to do the Disney movies on ABC a LONG time ago.
