What can we expect with regard to wait times when picking-up a rental car from WDW Car Care Center? We will only be renting a car for two days while at WDW so that we may travel to visit my MIL.
Our plan is to pick-up the vehicle (a premium at this point) at the CCC around noon on a Monday and then drive it from MIL's in Punta Gorda straight to MCO for our outbound flight.
What kind of wait time should be we expect on both ends--pick-up and return?
Also, I booked a premium car (Bonneville-type), but may change this res for an SUV. We have loads of time and the only discount I've received at this point is the AP. Is it smart to book the lowest acceptable class and wait for possible upgrade codes or just book the class you really want and hope for discounts later?
We never rent a car while at WDW and have only had to rent a car on vacation once in our 23 years of marriage! That was a fiasco experience with car breakdowns, etc. I want this to go well and I've been trying to educate myself by reading here.
Any ideas?
