There are free tasty snacks in there too! The snacks in the glass cases are all free, just help yourself!:cool1:

HA!
I love your post!

I had a Chai Latte EVERY morning on our last cruise on the Magic! It wasn't listed on the menu, but they made it.
Nothing like sitting outside Cafe Cove while the family is still sleeping!!
;)
I think I paid about $4.50/ $5.00 each though (including a tip). After 6 (or 5) you get one free.
Matthew (from England) served me almost every morning, what a nice splurge that was!

I do not drink coffee at all but my favorite drink at Starbucks is the Chai Latte. That said I also got a Chai Latte every morning on the cruise at Cove Cafe....no it was not like Starbucks but it was fine and I enjoyed it.

Yeah,:cool1: that is going on my list of things to do. A quiet chai latte before the family gets up sounds perfect! A great way to start my day. Thank-you everyone!

Cove Cafe is great when I want the extra special coffee or treat. I tend to hit the 24 hour beverage station, deck 9 aft near the Mickey pool, for most of my soda, coffee, and tea. On our last cruise in December, I purchased a specialty coffee in a reuseable Cove Cafe mug, and used that every morning to fill up at the beverage station and then went to sit outside Cove Cafe.

And ... they have awesome smoothies too!! :thumbsup2

They also change the munchies throughout the day. In the morning it's more likely to be scones, croissants, etc. Afternoon will feature sweets, and sometimes in the evening you'll see skewers of fruit, etc.

Yup, I do it all the time. I don't drink coffee...so I go and get tea from the beverage station then hit the Cove Cafe for munchies and sit outside reading.

Is all the food free in the Cove Cafe or do they charge for it? :confused3
I know the drinks are an extra charge. I am just wondering about the food, croissants, muffins, sweets, etc...

Thanks! :flower3:

Yep, the snacks are free.

And I have to say, I had the best Chai Latte there! Yum!

The snacks/food was free out of the Cove Cafe. I remember having a chocolate dipped strawberry out of there during our first cruise. I got one 4 out of the 7 days. I was looking so forward to them on our second cruise. None to be found at the Cove.:guilty:

But, I found a really good substitue in a fruit and nut cookie that was out of this world on the second cruise. So, yes the offerings change, but, there is always something worthwhile.
