~ A PTR for a CAMPING Trip That Might Never Be ~ *TR Started (link inside)*

Very cute envelopes! Nice job Boys!

I am itching to start packing! :rolleyes1

Can you believe you will be there so soon!!!! YAY!!!

I started packing this morning and pulled out a couple of bags that were sitting in my closet. I'd forgotten about the stickers I'd purchased at Target. I figured it was a good time to make the mousekeeping envelopes and put those babies to use! :thumbsup2

First, I had to recruit some workers. Owen and Connor were happy to complete the task. I simply asked them to write "mousekeeping" and "thank you" on the envelopes and cover with stickers. Somewhere along the way, Owen got a bit creative and added his own flair. This is what we ended up with (Connor's is the one on the top right):

I think Owen has seen one too many stickers on his papers at school. :rotfl:

ADORABLE and HILARIOUS!!! Too funny about the too many stickers at school, but I can picture all those sticker sayings in my head!!!:rotfl:

My thread seems to be giving me some issues, but I'm going to try and reply to your posts and give an update. Fingers crossed!

The envelopes are darling.... but didn't Stitch want to help, too?? ;)

Kathy

Well, at the time he was taking a nap and I didn't want to disturb his slumber. :rolleyes1

But, I guess he must have seen the envelopes we made and decided he wanted in on the fun because this is what we found later in the day.

I blamed the boys for making a mess and then didn't believe them when they tried to blame it on Stitch. What do y'all think?? :confused3

That boy cracks me up.

Love the envelopes! Great idea having the kiddo's do them.

I can't take credit for that (Missy - was that you who had the boys decorate the envelopes??), but thanks! :goodvibes

Great envelopes! I am going to try and let the kids help me with all of that kind of stuff as we get closer to the trip!

They had a lot of fun with them. :thumbsup2

I love your envelopes - and Stitch's contribution!

I've been stressing a little bit about making my mousekeeping envelopes - but your method seems so much easier than what I was planning. I was going to print off some designs from here on the DIS, but I think I'll let the kids decorate them in the coming weeks.

PS - I see what you mean about your thread acting up... I can't seem to go over to page 85... if there is one?? But that seems to be happening on some other reports too. :confused3

We had a bit of an emergency this morning. The boys woke up and couldn't find Stitch anywhere. :scared1: We searched frantically through the house, becoming more and more worried as time went on.

I finally decided to widen our search outside - just in case. After looking around the entire neighborhood and about to give up, I noticed something in my van.

It looks like Stitch was a bit anxious to head to Disney World! :rolleyes1 After explaining to him that we weren't leaving until Friday, he seemed very disappointed. I felt I had to do something to try and perk up our visitor.

We decided to go on a little adventure and take him letterboxing! :woohoo: We all got in the van and began the drive. Kathy and Heidi - you didn't mention that Stitch likes to drive! :scared:

Having Stitch "help" was making Chuck a bit nervous, so I sent him to the back to sit with Connor.

Much better. :thumbsup2

We arrived at our destination.

Can you see Stitch in the picture? He always seems to find a way to sneak in...

Stitch was having a blast exploring.

Psssst. I don't think Stitch read the notice about leaving the nest alone. :rolleyes1

He was very excited when he found his first letterbox! :yay:

The boys don't look too excited - do they? :confused3

After our letterboxing tasks were completed, we let the boys play on the playground for a little bit.

Stitch was exhausted after his big day out. He's been napping ever since. :goodvibes

5 DAYS!!!!! :mickeyjum:stitch::goofy::sulley::dumbo:

Thanks! I know! I can't believe it's almost time. :goodvibes And I'm nowhere near packed. :rotfl:

Having the boys do the envelopes for me was so much easier. And I bet mousekeeping will appreciate their effort. :goodvibes

Now it's showing that I have a page 85 and 86 and I can't get to either one. Don't think there's anything on them so not sure what's going on. :confused3

Yeah..I had the boys make the envelopes for our 2007 trip and they turned out so cute! They enjoyed helping and some of the things they wrote on the envelopes were very sweet. I loved their little personal touch...glad your boys enjoyed themselves! That Stitch just doesn't like to be left out does he??
