Genuine question girls..........where do you buy your lingerie in Orlando.....in England it's soooo expensive.....for matching bra, knickers and vest tops/camisoles costs about £40-£50 for a set. I'm a girl who likes "matching" if you know what I mean.....so on my "shopping" day (when I eventually get over there!!) point me in the right direction. Now I've been to the Mall and thought that was quite expensive - visited Pointe Orlando - and bought fabulous bikinis in one shop - can't remember if there is a lingerie one there. There's a possibility may be visiting NY at Christmas - so any recommendations/must visits there would be nice too.

Anyway, true, prices are quite high at malls, but they are usually better quality. I say that when you get to Orlando, check out the Florida Mall (very close to Universal Studios) and just check out any sales. Mall of Millenia is a tourist trap because prices are outrageous there...for everything.

I can't really give you any advice because any of my purchases would be local but I still recommend the Florida Mall and stores like Victoria's Secret or (even better for a chance of a sale) the department stores.

Have you ever tried a Bealls? There is one in Orlando and are common in Florida. They have a descent lingerie selection there. Check out their website for some idea of pricing (I even noticed a wonderful 4-letter word that begins with an S!!).

Black was very common, though I think pastel colors are "in." I've seen loads of pinks, green, blues, and purples...but no "one" color.

Hello. I buy most of my lingerie in Debenhams and indeed have a fab shocking pink set!! I'm suddenly very interested in buying some American lingerie - but very important question - how is it sized? I know about dress sizes, but as bras are measured in inches, maybe it's the same as UK?

BTW, the above post from SpideyHulk is EXACTLY why I thought he was a Scorpio. Reminds me very much of someone I know!!

Remember edie......knickers will be in a different size.....so if your a 10 you'll be an 8 etc....Have you noticed lately that some of the upmarket stores are using european sizes in everything?- Morgan have started to do it, French Connection - it's sooo confusing.

Hmm. I'm a 10 here and a 4P in the US - according to the label in a suit I bought a few years ago. Re. bizarre labelling - Mex label everything in 5 different languages, and Gap.... what's going on there?? I just don't understand it at all.

Pink is very in but you can get just about any colour now and any pattern. Lingerie is very much in fashion right now. You might want to try out TJMaxx as well. They often have matching sets that are very reasonably priced. There is one not too far away from Universal, if you've got a car.

Just as a matter of interest what would you say is the average price in Florida for a nice bra matching knickers and vest top - in dollars is okay - I'll convert it.
