I'm so sick of that guy/girl. He's a girl. Chosing to live as a man. So it's not a MAN having a baby. He still has a uterus- that makes him still a she imho. If they want to have a baby- good for them. I am just sick of hearing about it as if it really is a MAN having a baby. (not refering to you op I am talking about the media)

I am taking it that none of you have any trans friends or family. If any of you did you would know that this is a man who happens to have a uterus.
I think it is wonderful, and I wish him and his wife a lifetime of happiness.

What I don't get though is if he truly wanted to live his life and forever be known as a man why keep the uterus?
He stated clearly that the reason he did so was to have a baby.
Yes he is living as a man and good for him but for medical purposes as long as a person as a uterus then it is not a medical miracle that they have a baby. Medically he is still female.

So he does want to be a woman then.

I agree that the media has done more to make him out as a "freak" than to expose the story for what it is: a happy story of a family who went about having a baby in a bit of an unconventional way. The media has gone a bit overboard on their sensationalism of the story. But that's what the media does, because that's what gets the ratings. They're only showing "what the people want".
