Just got back from Disney World Land and Sea Adventure and wanted to share a tip for our Magic Kingdom day. We had breakfast at POFQ then headed to the MK for opening. We actually didn't arrive until about 9:15 a.m. but went right to Fantasyland and did Dumbo as was suggested - waited only about 10 mins., then we did the Pooh ride and a few others which I cannot remember, then off to Toontown for the barnstormer and the MM houses - we rode the barnstormer with Goofy which was cool. Then off to tomorrowland where we grabbed a FP for the Buzz Lightyear ride and while we waited for that we had an early (11:30) lunch at the food court in tomorrowland. Then back for buzz lightyear - which was awesome! After that we headed to the Jungle Cruise which we grabbed a fast pass for then had a snack and checked out the treehouse and did pirates of the caribbean then time for the JC - we got off the Jungle cruise at 2:45 p.m.(just by chance) and wouldn't you know its right around the corner from where the parade starts - so as we got off the ride there was the parade big as life - soooo cool. Then we split off to do It's a small world and the speedway separately then we met up at the bottom of the Castle stairs for a Cinderella show(can't remember the name but it was at 4:40 p.m. and was one of the highlights of the day - many of the characters from the parade were in it and it was very entertaining. Then we took a walk down mainstreet stopped in the town hall to see if there were openings for a sitdown dinner and low and behold at 5:45 p.m. cancellation for Chef Mickeys which by the way was the perfect time to go as we saw the characters at least two times each while we ate. The kids b4 and g2 were so thrilled. As we left dinner it was about 7:10 so we popped out the side door(after asking of course) and there was a perfect view of the fireworks - then back in to do some shopping then back to the POFQ with two happily dreaming children.
We didn't plan it timing wise but it worked out so well in the late afternoon with the cindy show and the PS at the Chef Mickeys that if its your first day in the parks and you think you can do it - make the PS way ahead of time.
Any questions, I'd love to ans. them. Thank you disboards for all the great info. K
