Thunderbird countdown time for Emma! :cheer2:

Willow - enjoy your planning too.

Anticipation is one of the best parts of a holiday for me. :flower3:

Planning would be easier if dd & I could agree on which week, lol. She's for 1st week of August & I'm for second week....Bump

Big afternoon wedding to go to today and then reception with heavy rains predicted. Friday weddings are highly unusual around here so that will definitely be discussed at the reception :confused3

Love the groom's family but hate driving one hour each way alone since DH doesn't know the family at all and refuses to go but I didn't want to disappoint the groom's father and second wife whom I am close to! It's a pain being independent!!!

BUMP!

Thanks minijeanie! I will be careful and I'm sure it will be fun!

Have fun, Miss Independent, lol.

Which week will have lower crowds or a better deal?

Bump

It's only for 4 days.
Her week all four parks have one morning EMH each, but prices are a little over $200 more...
My week has only late EMH but is cheaper, lol.
We have AP's so just doing room only.

Guess we will probably do her week cause last few trips the kiddos wanted to spend a lot of time at the pool late in the evening. So mornings to mid afternoon at a park then dinner & pool does sound kinda more relaxed than we usually do.

I always think that early into the park is best. Less people want to get up early. Bummer about the extra $.

Took a day off from DIS yesterday......:rotfl:

The wedding Friday night was so nice and well worth the long drive both ways including the pouring rain/thunderstorm between the church and the reception  It was a particularly special reception with the bride truly relaxing and enjoying herself, crying a bit as she danced with her new husband and her mom and her stand-in 'father'. I don't think I've ever seen a more sincere, loving couple at a reception :cloud9:

I always take candids for the family (bride last June; groom this time) and I think I got some decent shots for a rank amateur. I have watched both kids grow from early adolescence into adulthood and camped with both quite a bit in Scouting. This entire family has welcomed me totally into theirs. Here's a link to that album if you want to take a look. View as a slideshow for best effect.

After I post some in Games etc. I'll finally get back to processing more of my June trip and post those as well.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I know I had a great one!

Yippee!! My youngest dd just texted me that she finally got a tax advocate to work on getting her tax refund!!!
BUMP!!
