So we left Biergarten and proceeded to China. On the way is the Outpost and Mark had to get that Indiana Jones look:
There was also a sign for the Food & Wine Festival that would be starting after we left (one of these years we will go for it):
So we arrived in China and our mission was to find a hat while I texted Mary to see where they were at:
We take this same picture every year of Mark rubbing the belly. We still haven't had much good luck from doing it:
Mary and the girls were on Figment and said they'd meet us in Mexico when they were done so Mark and I walked on to Norway and rode Maelstrom:
And time for a hat picture:
or two:
or three:
We left Norway and walked over to Mexico. I tried to take a picture of the menu for the new Mexican restaurant:
As we continued to stroll toward the Mexican pavilion, I spotted two little "minnows" out of the corner of my eye sitting at a table while Mom was getting them something to eat. It warmed my heart when Avery ran up to us and gave us each a big hug, followed by Cayley. So we sat and chatted while they ate and then headed for a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour. First we had to stop for a few pictures:
And if Mr. Mark can wear a silly hat, why can't two little "minnows":
Aren't they just the cutest things?
We finished our Gran Fiesta Tour and got the girls in the stroller and were deciding what to do next. At that time, Avery realized she lost her crown that she had bought with her own money. She tried to remember when she last had it and believed it was while riding the Figment ride. So we walked over to Journey Into Imagination. While Mary and Avery went to check to see if anyone turned in Avery's crown, I bought Cayley and me some popcorn to nibble on while Mr. Mark went to the men's room. Soon, Avery and Mary walked out and Avery had a huge smile on her face. They had found her crown!!! I will tell you had they not found it, I was heading over to Mouse Gears to get her a new one.
From there, we decided to do Soarin' since we all had Fastpasses for it and we had a blast.
After that, we knew that we would have to be splitting up because Mark and I still had to go to Downtown Disney to do our shopping. But we still hadn't done Spaceship Earth (which I ride every year in memory of my dad because it was his favorite ride and I like it too...but I still miss the narration by Walter Cronkite). So off we went towards SE. But on the way we stopped for a photopass picture with the girls and Mary. Here are the ones from my camera:
On to Spaceship Earth. Mary rode with Cayley and Avery rode with Mr. Mark and I. Avery and I made Mr. Mark move his head so that we could decide our future.

What do guys know anyway?
So we departed Spaceship Earth, and gave the girls and Mary big hugs and said how much we enjoyed our time together and hope that we will be able to do it again on a future trip. As Mark and I left the park to get the car to go to Downtown Disney, I got misty eyed. He asked me what was wrong. I said, "I'm going to miss those little "minnows" and we had just gotten off Spaceship Earth and it brings back happy memories of my dad but also makes me realize how much I still miss him.
Up next, Downtown Disney and our last day at Disney World
