A Mouse, Two Little Minnows who wear out Grumpy and Test Track Moves to Naples 11/26

That Tim is sure causing trouble! :rolleyes1

I kind of want to see Captain EO. I used to be a huge Michael Jackson fan back in the 80's. Then when he turned white...and weird...I found him totally disgusting. But for a few years there, before I knew better ( early teens) I wanted to become Mrs Michael Jackson. LOL!

Anyways I have always been interested in what this was about. So it would be neat to finally see it.

Congrats to your son!

I'm not a big MJ fan either. We saw it in Disneyland because Geoff wanted to see it. It was so 80s I just laughed through the whole thing.

Hi Kathy!
Congrats to Markie!! Fantastic news – getting paid well for something you love to do.:)

Also, have to say I’ve never seen Caption EO, but kind of would like to (I like to think of MJ before his transformation – when his great music is what people would talk about)

BTW … what is a Beverly??

I posted on FB, but again, congrats to Markie! That's so awesome!

MJ- what can be said.... except, he's a very good pole dancer too. ;)

We missed Captin EO too. I wonder if anyone did it? I felt like I may have missed something...Looks like since no one is posting a review of it on their TR...I may never know if I did....;)

So, I am curious, did Mark like Captain EO? Jen and I missed it, so I guess I should try to see it in May.

I love Nemo!

Out of all the hats I have seen that Mickey popcorn ears has got to be the cutest. Really different!

Hey Kathy, I took the Seeds Tour this time, and I can assure you- yes, everything is real. We tried a few things, smelled some things and took a ton of photos. Majorly cool stuff in there!!

Thanks. Mark wants to do that tour some time.

I disappear for a few weeks (sold the house and moved to a new one) and see that I missed a whole lot of exciting things.

There are times when you spend an hour of your life on something and think to yourself,"that's an hour I'll never get back again." This was not one of them. I love the trip report so far; count me in on this one.

Here, I thought you didn't love me anymore. :rotfl2::rotfl2: Welcome...I'm really glad you joined.

:rolleyes1 She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one, who will dance on the floor in the round :rolleyes1

Great news!!!!! Time to get paid!!!! Now Markie doesn't have to mooch off you anymore!

I do worry about you sometimes. :rolleyes1

Yes, and he's getting paid $4500 to do this! :woohoo::woohoo:

:yay: Kathy that is awesome news! I know you guys are very excited for him!

We are thrilled for him. He will continue in the sport that has been a part of his life for 15 years.

It's time for a TR thread takeover!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:
(oh wait, this isn't Rosie's thread, is it???? :rotfl2:

Admit it, Kathy, for a second there.............. :)

Nope, not even for a second. I know you too well now, Marv. I talked to Rosie on the phone tonight (I posted her comments on her PTR).

Congrats to your son. :goodvibes My BIL is a high school teacher and coaches (football) there too, his extra salary goes to Disney trips with our grand gathering.:thumbsup2

Thanks; Markie is thrilled as are we. His older brother has been coaching at a high school here for three years--he coaches baseball.

Congratulations Markie!

Thank you, Lisa.

Woops... I missed this post! :headache:

It's okay, Tim. I still love you.

That Tim is sure causing trouble! :rolleyes1

Tim is always up to something (as is Marv, Glen, Dan, etc.).

Mark likes it so if it is still there on your next visit I guess you ought to give it a try.

Congrats to your son!

I'm not a big MJ fan either. We saw it in Disneyland because Geoff wanted to see it. It was so 80s I just laughed through the whole thing.

Thanks for the congrats for Markie.

From what Mark said, he only sings one song.

A Beverly is one of the "Cokes" at the drinking station.

I posted on FB, but again, congrats to Markie! That's so awesome!

Thank you Liesa (I did see that on FB too).

And as for the pole dancer all I can say is

We missed Captin EO too. I wonder if anyone did it? I felt like I may have missed something...Looks like since no one is posting a review of it on their TR...I may never know if I did....;)

I have a feeling a lot of people saw it when it was first there years and years ago (in the 80's). :confused3

So, I am curious, did Mark like Captain EO? Jen and I missed it, so I guess I should try to see it in May.

I love Nemo!

Out of all the hats I have seen that Mickey popcorn ears has got to be the cutest. Really different!

Mark enjoyed it. I'm not sure how long it is supposed to be there...if it is permanent or not?

I love Nemo too.

That was a great hat. And if you scratched it, it smelled like popcorn.

Hi Kathy! I'm finally here and all caught up, I did cheat and skip all the chit chat though, I figured I'd never finish if I didn't.

I'll do my best to keep up now - great report!

So after we stopped for a couple of hat photos after finishing up in Future World, it was off to World Showcase.

First, stop, our neighbor, Canada.

"Oh Canada's" next show was going to start in about three minutes so we waited for the show to start. I really like the new version with Martin Short narrating...it added something to it. After the show, it was time for a little window shopping:

We picked up this shirt for our youngest son. Being that he is in college, we thought it was a perfect fit:

Then it was time for a couple of "typical" tourist photos:

Up next was the United Kingdom. I "people" watched while Mark went and got himself a beer in the Rose & Crown. After Mark drank his beer, we strolled through the shops and ended up here:

And we ALWAYS go here so I can get this photo:

A picture of the gardens and the shadow box on the Life Cycle of Butterflies:

Next up is France. We strolled through the stores; okay, I walked FAST through most of them. I am very sensitive to perfume and cannot handle the smell in the store.

We did run into a character that we have never seen before while we were in "France."

I love these gardens but only got one photo this time:

A few photos from one of the shops:

After months of reading others trip reports, I was determined to try the Grand Mariner Slushie this trip:

DSC01254.jpg

While I was thoroughly enjoying that Slushie, this guy walked behind us:

Off to Morocco:

And then on to Japan:

I have NO idea what that woman was thinking watching Grumpy try on the hat. :confused3

We skipped the American Adventure because the show would have still been running if we went in when it was time for dinner. Unfortunately, we missed Voices of Liberty as well as the American Adventure this trip which really bothered me because I really enjoy both.

We headed off to Italy and made a quick run through the stores and saw this:

Up next, we visit Germany and have dinner with a great group of people and receive a text message just before going into dinner.

I'll do my best to keep up now - great report!

:welcome::welcome: Michelle. I am so happy you are here. And I certainly understand you skipping the chit chat...you probably would have to take a full day or two to get through it all.

Yea for updates & Yea:rainbow: You finally tried the Grand Marnier Slushie!
I still cannot believe that I tried it (last year) before you did. So, what did you think???

And I LOVE that you saw the Beast :) Lanie & I just watched Beauty & The Beast last night and now she's constantly asking for Belle.

Lovely tour around WS!! As always Mark is obviously having a great time trying on the hats- I got a few of the same... :rolleyes1

I have a pretty strong opinion on those drinks, but you'll have to wait for that.

R& C looked like a great place to grab a cold beer- if you like beer... I got myself a stiff drink of cold water- twice in there.

I LOVED my slushie and would have loved another one but I knew I had to eat first before I even considered a second one. ;)

I forgot to mention... HAPPY BARTMAN DAY!!!!! It is the 7 year anniversary! :lmao:

Hat count... 25! (2 of those are baseball caps)

I didn't realize that Pooh hung out in the UK. I should make a note of this.

Great pics! It seems like you were moving through the countries pretty quickly. So how did you like the slushy? :goodvibes

He was on a mission with the hats this trip. ;)

I'm not a big beer drinker (it makes me have to visit that ladies room way too much), but I do enjoy one on a really hot day. But I refrained and saved the beers for our nights on Marco.

You've said that before about your "strong opinion" on the slushies and I'm dying to know what it is.

Thanks, Tim...really appreciate that. Our biggest chance to reach the WS and that day will live forever in Cubs fans minds. However, I was one of the few who never blamed Bartman. I blamed the coaches and the goof at shortstop who blew the play.

Yes, it is usually Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore--they are in the back of the Toy Store. This year it was only Pooh and Tigger. They are there all day (with the occasional ten minute break).

I loved my slushie and can't wait to have several more next trip. :cloud9:
This was my year to try a couple of new drinks...tried a few on Marco Island too.

Yay you got a slushie! Although I like the Grand Marnier one I'm partial to the Grey Goose - soooo good, wish I had one right now......

Mark's hat pictures are awesome, so much fun!

wonderful update! I love the hat photo with the lady in the background....too funny...

my next trip I want to spend more time in World Showcase and have a GM slushie and meet up with Tigger and Pooh!
:wave2: Connie

BTW: still waiting to hear about the text:rolleyes1

DH still says that a simple trip to the mound by the coach and a "Shake it off - it's just a foul ball" would have made all the difference in the world.
