A Mouse, Two Little Minnows who wear out Grumpy and Test Track Moves to Naples 11/26

i really like that bear shirt.

reminds me of last night when we were in meijer shopping

we walked by the bid giant decorated cookies, and they had one that said

GO BEARS with there colors on it, okay cool

well 2 down from that the other cookie said

GO BEERS

we laughed and i took a picture with my phone.

we then took it to the cookie lady, because we didnt think they would want it out there.

she even took a picture of it with her phone to make fun of the guy that decorates them.

i told her she needed to put a T on there so it said

GOT BEERS i bet it would sell in an instant.

okay hijack ove.r

I thought it was a great shirt. He won't ever wear the ones with Disney characters that we get him (I got him a great one last year with Donald Duck on it and it said: "I Flunked Anger Management."). So this was was a perfect fit for my college son.

I love the cookie story. That is just too funny. Same son with the t-shirt is going to Green Bay tomorrow. He has been a Packers fan since he was like 5 or 6 years old and this is his first time ever to go to a game. He is beside himself. And, yes, we dropped him on his head when he was born.

im suprised you still claim him.
:sad2:

Ooohh look at that delightful Slushie!! Yes, there is also a Grey Goose Slushie (I prefer this to the GM) it has more of a lemon flavor. My FAVORITE by far is the one they pull out for Food and Wine. It is in a separate kiosk/booth and is called the Parisian Cosmo Slush. I LOVE this one!! It is dark red and so good! I will be having one (and many more) in 8 days! :woohoo:

Great picture of Mark in Mitsukoshi with that woman behind him!!

Tracy

Hmm, a mystery text??? Love all the hat pics. Good luck saving the fundraiser.

Great story - hilarious!!

Kathy: Definitely liked the GM slushie :thumbsup2- could use one tonight, while I watch the Yankees (win of course:))

Loved Mark in all the hats – my fav is the Paris one -- he looks so chic in the beret and sunglasses!!

Ooh...the one they pull out for F&W sounds yummy. I'm not a big lemon fan so I think the GM would be my favorit eof those two.

When I looked at my pics and saw that woman I just :rotfl:

You wouldn't know anything about a mystery text, would you Mary? ;) Thanks...I'm going to need the luck (you'd think after Markie being out of high school five years that they'd find someone else to undertake this who could do it right).

Good luck to the Yankees. Since the Braves were knocked out, I'm cheering for the Yankees to take it all.

Didn't he look "chic"...maybe that is someone asked him "Maam, can I help you?" :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Update coming up as soon as I walk the dog who is being a big pain in my butt at the moment.

That bear shirt is so cute! I love the shirts they have in the Canada store, I always want Brandon to get something with a moose on it, but he won't. :confused3

Yay you got to meet Marie!!! Isn't she so cute? I love her! :lovestruc So glad you finally got to have a slushie...only 28 days til I can have another one! :rotfl:

Good luck to the Yankees. Since the Braves were knocked out, I'm cheering for the Yankees to take it all.

Ughhhhhh...I HATE the Yankees...please, anyone but them!!!! :dance3:

I'm sitting here by myself- I actually have the night off... Juliana is in bed & Melody went out to meet her friends, beer in hand, working on the computer, DISing, and watching the game. Now if CC can throw some strikes it would be a little better. :lmao:

 I should have stated he looked, "dashing, sophisticated, mysterious, sexy -- is that better?? :goodvibes

A fan by default?? We'll take it!:)

Ughhhhhh...I HATE the Yankees...please, anyone but them!!!! :dance3:

This is usually the way ... you love 'em or you love to hate them.
Update: 3 run hr for Texas ... not happy right now ....

Oh tell Brandon he must get one. If my husband can try on silly hats, he can wear a shirt with a moose on it.

Marie is adorable and it is the very first time we've ever seen her out.

I don't normally cheer for the Yankees, but they have one of my favorite Cub players on the team now and I'd like to see him get a WS ring.

I wondered how long it would take for you to chime in about the Yankees. :rotfl::rotfl:

I finally got something back today...you know what....and I cannot be more thrilled to be back to normal, well normal for me anyways

I left you with Mark and I had just finished trying on a hat in Italy. We headed to Germany to check in for our 4 p.m. ADR. Just before we got there, I got a text message from Mary (MaryAZ) asking where we were because Avery wanted to see us. I told her that we were about to check in for dinner at Biergarten and asked where they were. They were at Epcot as well. I told her I would text her after dinner and we would hook up. This was so weird because Mark and I had just been talking about how much fun we had with the girls and wish we could have had a little longer with them.

So we checked into Biergarten and we were a little early. They don't start serving dinner until 4 p.m. and we checked in around 3:50. So we got our beeper (as if we really needed it) and strolled through the shops.

I have to say this is my FAVORITE hat of the trip and we ALMOST bought it:

Our beeper buzzed and we went back to:

We were seated at a lower tier table (the first time ever...we always sit up top). We were seated with four women and two little girls from West Virginia who were REALLY nice people and we had a great time with them. Maggie and (I forget the other girl's name) were both celebrating birthdays.

I have to tell you we LOVE German food. Mark used to work in a German restaurant when he was 13 and 14 years old clearing tables while his mom was a waitress at the restaurant.

Here are pictures of our plates (and I'm not going to go over what each item is...I think you can probably figure out most of it).

Mark's beer:

I have to say we really enjoyed our meals except for one thing. I have a big Veal Schnitzel lover and they did not have it. They had Chicken Schnitzel instead. What was up with that????? This was a HUGE disappointment and it was terrible on top of it -- the chicken was very dried out and even the gravy did not help.

Up next, some of our dessert choices (and I will admit I had two of the chocolate dessert ;)):

When we first sat down, our waiter asked if it was okay if he could give the band our names (as well as the birthday girls) to be announced for our anniversary. Now, I don't know if this was because we were the first table seated or because we were right in front of the stage, but we were the only ones announced. They even announced that we had been married 27 years!

A few pictures inside the restaurant and of the band:

We said goodbye to our fellow table guests and headed outside to finish up WS and text Mary and the girls.

Up next, the rest of WS.

Love the hat, but you would have to buy the sunglasses, too and I could see how that might get pricey! :rotfl: We love Biergarten and not entirely because we are such huge fans of German food. There is just something so Disney about that place, at least IMO. :goodvibes

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you.

Did you get what I mailed you?

Yes I just got it today

Germany, ah Germany...how I love that place!! I wish we could fit it in our schedule but there are just too many other places to go to and not enough days to fit it in anywhere. Maybe we will go back when they bring back the real deal veal!

Mark in that hat, every time I see it I crack up!

So we left Biergarten and proceeded to China. On the way is the Outpost and Mark had to get that Indiana Jones look:

DSC01292.jpg

There was also a sign for the Food & Wine Festival that would be starting after we left (one of these years we will go for it):

DSC01291.jpg

So we arrived in China and our mission was to find a hat while I texted Mary to see where they were at:

DSC01293.jpg

We take this same picture every year of Mark rubbing the belly. We still haven't had much good luck from doing it:

DSC01294.jpg

DSC01295.jpg

Mary and the girls were on Figment and said they'd meet us in Mexico when they were done so Mark and I walked on to Norway and rode Maelstrom:

DSC01298.jpg

DSC01299.jpg

And time for a hat picture:

DSC01301.jpg

or two:

DSC01303.jpg

or three:

DSC01304.jpg

We left Norway and walked over to Mexico. I tried to take a picture of the menu for the new Mexican restaurant:

DSC01306.jpg

DSC01305.jpg

As we continued to stroll toward the Mexican pavilion, I spotted two little "minnows" out of the corner of my eye sitting at a table while Mom was getting them something to eat. It warmed my heart when Avery ran up to us and gave us each a big hug, followed by Cayley. So we sat and chatted while they ate and then headed for a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour. First we had to stop for a few pictures:

DSC01307.jpg

DSC01309.jpg

And if Mr. Mark can wear a silly hat, why can't two little "minnows":

DSC01308.jpg

Aren't they just the cutest things?

We finished our Gran Fiesta Tour and got the girls in the stroller and were deciding what to do next. At that time, Avery realized she lost her crown that she had bought with her own money. She tried to remember when she last had it and believed it was while riding the Figment ride. So we walked over to Journey Into Imagination. While Mary and Avery went to check to see if anyone turned in Avery's crown, I bought Cayley and me some popcorn to nibble on while Mr. Mark went to the men's room. Soon, Avery and Mary walked out and Avery had a huge smile on her face. They had found her crown!!! I will tell you had they not found it, I was heading over to Mouse Gears to get her a new one. ;)

From there, we decided to do Soarin' since we all had Fastpasses for it and we had a blast.

After that, we knew that we would have to be splitting up because Mark and I still had to go to Downtown Disney to do our shopping. But we still hadn't done Spaceship Earth (which I ride every year in memory of my dad because it was his favorite ride and I like it too...but I still miss the narration by Walter Cronkite). So off we went towards SE. But on the way we stopped for a photopass picture with the girls and Mary. Here are the ones from my camera:

DSC01310-1.jpg

DSC01311.jpg

On to Spaceship Earth. Mary rode with Cayley and Avery rode with Mr. Mark and I. Avery and I made Mr. Mark move his head so that we could decide our future. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: What do guys know anyway?

DSC01313.jpg

DSC01316.jpg

DSC01319.jpg

So we departed Spaceship Earth, and gave the girls and Mary big hugs and said how much we enjoyed our time together and hope that we will be able to do it again on a future trip. As Mark and I left the park to get the car to go to Downtown Disney, I got misty eyed. He asked me what was wrong. I said, "I'm going to miss those little "minnows" and we had just gotten off Spaceship Earth and it brings back happy memories of my dad but also makes me realize how much I still miss him.

Up next, Downtown Disney and our last day at Disney World

Tina, I totally forgot about the sunglasses. Yes, those were separate but it was such a perfect look. I was rolling on the floor because I was laughing so hard.

Yes, wait until they get the veal back.

I knew you couldn't wait to see that hat again.

UM EXCUSE ME???

Whaddya mean no luck..you won a freakin $1000 like 2 days later!!! :lmao:

And yes I can wait to mail it then, no problemo
