Sunday May 6th
As I mentioned before we will be leaving bright and early that Sunday, even though I thought we would not be flying out so early. We (the adults) will have to wake up at 4:45am which is actually not as early as last year.
My goal is to have all bags packed and downstairs by the door Saturday night, so all we have to do is get dressed and go.
We should head off to the airport at around 5:30am and should arrive at La Guardia at 6:00am. I'm estimating 40 minutes for check-in and security, so we should be at our gate enjoying airport breakfast at about 7:00am. The plane is scheduled to depart at 7:55am so I'm guessing boarding will start at about 7:30am.
Once on the plane I hope that Michael falls asleep. I plan on bringing him entertainment if he doesn't. I am just praying he handles the plane ride better than last year. I am not a nervous flier and will probably take that time to read. We are scheduled to arrive at MCO at 10:40am.
I'm estimating getting to the hotel at about noon. I'm factoring in getting to the DME location at MCO, which may take a little longer if we stop to buy anything. The wait for our bus and the traffic which may or may not be busy. Hopefully check in will be a breeze... I am a fan of online check in and have had good experiences with that in the past.
If our room is ready we will probably check it out then head over to the food court for lunch. Once lunch is done we would go back to our rooms so the Michael can take his afternoon nap, and I will take the time to unpack. Once Michael wakes up we will head to DTD browse... maybe shop.
If our room is not ready we will leave our packages with baggage desk and head out to DTD. We will have lunch at EOS and then do our browsing and shopping.
Either one of these scenarios is fine with me, the only difference for me is that if Michael gets to nap we go to DTD stroller-less. If not then we will have to bring his stroller.
We are excited to go DTD during the day, because we have only been there at night, and there is so much more we have left to see,
