I think their are 21 cabins signed up so far.I have been getting all my gifts ready too .Hope to be done with them soon.

I am unable to send you a PM...it said I have to have posted 10 times first. My aunt booked this cruise for us but she said they wont be assigning our room until about a week before the cruise. Can I still sign up for the FE with just my kid's names and ages and then give you our room number later?

Yes you can sign up and then give me the cabin number later we actually have a couple other families that had to do the same thing and you might want to be in it also we have lots of adults that have joined. Just let me know and I will up date our list

Hi everyone. We booked this cruise a while back and I can't wait! We've cruised out of Galveston before but this will be our first Disney cruise. My daughter will be turning 4 during our trip, and my son will be 19 months.

The fish extenders sound so fun, we want to play too! I'll gather all the info and send a PM to join the group. I'm trying to get my sister and some others to join too.

We just booked this cruise! I am so excited. We were waiting for the rates to drop and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to go out of a port we can drive to so easily! We live near Ft. Worth. This will be out 7th time on the Disney Magic, we love the ship. It is our 8th DCL trip (we had to check out the Dream). We went out of Galveston for our Honeymoon over 10 years ago, but have been going to Cape Canaveral since our kids have been sailing with us. I was rerouted to Costa Maya with Disney in 2004 on Disney due to a hurricane, I think it was one of the first times they went there - I loved it and have been trying to get back - ironically, the cruise I booked that was supposed to go there a few years later got rerouted due to a hurricane so we didn't go then. We have been going at Christmas for the last 6 years, so it is really nice to be able to go when it is cheaper and closer! Anyway, I do know the Magic very well and also these ports if anyone has any questions. I scorolled through some of the posts, but then skipped ahead...

I plan on doing the F/E. My kids really enjoy that. I am trying to get more people to join us. We have that Monday off so it is only 4 days out of school (much better than the Panama Canal trip we booked in 2013)

It has been around 4 PM on our previous DCL cruises. I believe they have now changed the drill where you don't have to take your life jackets, so it will be easier to meet before and not have to run back to the staterooms to get ready.

so excited for more to join the FE!!! we did up like 50 so we can drop around the entire ship!!! so exciting!!!

It is one of my favorite things to do on the ship! It is so much fun 'touring' the ship and the fun of going back to the stateroom and finding goodies! If anyone is lurking and not signed up for it, I would recommend it!
