Starting thread for the 7 day Disney Magic cruise sailing out 4/13/12! Can't WAIT!!

I'll start this thread by introducing myself. My name is Heather, my dh is Bob and we have 6 kids, Devon-14, Trevor-9, Bobby-8, Ryan-7, Breanna-5 and Oliver is 4 months old. We are from Massachusetts. When we cruise they will be 15,10,9,8,6 and 14 months. We have been to WDW several times & on one cruise last year on Carnival which is when I fell in LOVE with cruising. We usually go to WDW every June but are putting that off this year due to our new baby but to make up are doing a 10 day land and sea trip next April. We'll be staying at Pop for 3 days prior to the cruise and I may add another day or 2 at the end of the cruise when we get back

I am hoping someone will join that also has a teenage boy so they would maybe chat by email or facebook before hand. My ds is shy and had a hard time making friens on the Carnival cruise and he drove me BONKERS lol so I'd love to hook him up with a cruise buddy before hand this time.

Can't wait to get chatting with someone as we plan this vacation!

Hi there,

I just booked this cruise for our family (Me and DH 30s, DD age 4 at cruising).

We did the exact same cruise a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it. Initally I thought we would rebook for the Fantasy in May but when I saw the price difference (about $1500) we opted to go back on the Magic. My daughter is already asking me, "how many more days until we get back on the "big boat?"

Since I just did the same sailing on the same boat I have a pretty good idea of what to expect so if anyone has any questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.

We just booked this 4/13/12 cruise as well. Family of 4 (my wife, myself and two girls who will be 13 and 12, respectively, at the time of sailing). Looking forward to it. We've never cruised before!

I just booked my first Disney Cruise the other day to sail on the April 13th cruise. Its me Tom, my DW Debbie and our 3 kids DD who will be 16 and 2 DS who will be 13 and 11. While we do WDW every year this will be our first DC. We have cruised before. We are all very exicted to do the 7 day eastern cruise.

DW - disney wife
DH - disney husband

We are booked on this one as well. It will be our 4th on the Magic, but 5th with Disney. We are sailing on the Dream in November.

Hey Heather! We are from north eastern Mass!! This will be our 3rd time to the E. Caribbean. You'll love it!! St. Thomas is beautiful, as well as St. John. Megan's Bay in St. Thomas is one of the top 10 beaches in the world and Trunk Bay in St. John is fabulous. Orient Bay in St. Maarten is nice too. Castaway Cay tops them all. Disney really went over the top with this one. It is your own island paradise!!
