Watched Evita today and was tempted to leave at intermission. It was not as bad as Cats (which we did leave at intermission years ago), but I almost fell asleep multiple times. The couple to our left decided to leave at intermission, so we had more room for the second half.

Luckily, Crap and I watched it alone. We looked at each other and said we should go at almost exactly the same time.

Dinner probably would have kept me from nearly falling to sleep. That would have made it less boring for sure.

We have had an exciting afternoon! Our neighbor's house caught fire and was destroyed! Luckily they were not home but it was quite crazy around here and is still busy with fire personnel even after the flames were put out. At one point I counted 17 FD vehicles including 5 huge fire trucks and our twisty two-lane road was shut down. We think there were so many alarms and vehicles on the scene due to the fact that we are in a very wooded area and there are no fire hydrants since we are on well and septic.

Worst of all is that this same house with different owners was destroyed in June 2008 by a durecho that caused a huge tree to crush the second floor (no one was injured). I think that poor house is jinxed!
