I've been missing out on the chatter, just popping in for last!

Kathy, I think you're right the house is jinxed, but what a pretty area you live in!

Thanks Fran! It is a very nice area, within 3 miles of a regional mall and the same distance from an interstate.

We have had an exciting afternoon! Our neighbor's house caught fire and was destroyed! Luckily they were not home but it was quite crazy around here and is still busy with fire personnel even after the flames were put out. At one point I counted 17 FD vehicles including 5 huge fire trucks and our twisty two-lane road was shut down. We think there were so many alarms and vehicles on the scene due to the fact that we are in a very wooded area and there are no fire hydrants since we are on well and septic.

Worst of all is that this same house with different owners was destroyed in June 2008 by a durecho that caused a huge tree to crush the second floor (no one was injured). I think that poor house is jinxed!

Oh my gosh! I am just now seeing this. I hope everyone is fine and that there were no animals hurt either. So sad.
