Interview went well; second interview Monday.

glad to hear they are doing something w/ those vacant buildings now on the POP area...wonder if I'll see any sign of the new resort when we are there in Nov

I agree great move by Disney....we'd stay there if we didn't buy into DVC...but don't think I'd trade my extra DVC perks

I'm glad too, the vacant buildings seemed to be such a terrible waste.

Katie - Thanks for posting this! I think this is GREAT! I know so many families that fall outside of the family of 4 model and they need affordable lodging to stay on Disney property. I think this is huge for large groups and families that want to travel economically. Plus - I am so excited to know that they will finally use that space near Pop century. It's about time.

I think I got behind on your TR while I was away, but I plan to catch up on everyone's this weekend.

Yes, if Disney wants to increase their theme park attendance they are on the right track. It's all about saving money these days!

I can't sit at the computer for too long today... I somehow hurt my back yesterday and I need to rest it.

It's the best I can do for this morning. Last Saturday, we were in Epcot. Today I am washing clothes and cleaning floors. I have to DIS a little in between chores to capture some magic.

You know my bunch is super excited for anything happening over at Pop. I'm hoping to get some pictures in July of any activity going on across the lake.

Hope your back feels better soon. Just the 15 minute ride to work in the morning is enough for my knee to get stiff. It works itself out as I walk to my room, but I look like an old cripple getting out of the car and into the building in the mornings. Take care of yourself.

A Pop Resort for families is going to be a huge hit... I'm thinking they're not going to have any trouble at all filling the suites at AoA (This is the DIS, we have to start using the resort acronym, don't we?)

The new hotel seems interesting, but it seems like Disney should be spending more money on the parks (especially AK, DHS, and Epcot) instead of on hotels and restaurants.

The job didn't pan out, but I'm not too broken-hearted about it.
I'm still looking and have taken some time to update and polish the old resume... which is three pages long!

Yikes! I've done a lot in 25 years!

All caught up!!! Sounds like the trip was going really well, up to this point. Glad the day ended up working out at DHS, and that Billy got to see his Fantasmic! I sense that this trip may be starting to go downhill, though...hope the problems are short-lived Can't wait to read the next installment...hope it's in before Thursday night...I leave Friday to go to Texas for a long weekend of training and fun for my new job........as a Disney travel agent!!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to update this weekend as planned! My bad...
both Ed AND the kids were home and so I didn't have much alone time.

I've also been trying to catch up on all of your TR and PTRs! That takes up a lot of time!

I'll try my best to get going on the next chapter... its rather embarrassing to be writing about a Halloween trip when its now past Memorial Day!
