A Gift for DH

While at the mall yesterday shopping for school cloths with granchildren.

We end up in one of the music stores. Were suppose to be shopping for cloths but when you take a 12 years old shopping you have to check out all the latest CD too.

My children and grandchildren have always laugh at DH selection of music. He loves Big Band Music and the Vocalist that sing the songs.

One of his favorites is Al Jolson, another is Vaughn Monroe. If I wasn't married to him I probably wouldn't know either name.

Anyways he has quite a few Al Jolson CD, but doesn't have any Vaughn Monroe CD.

There's a sleeve with the name Vaughn Monroe on it but no CD. So I ask if they can get me one. Sure enough I order the Vaughn Monroe Collection.

For those of you who are asking WHO!

Don't need to ask Mamu. I grew up with big band music. My father played in all the time.

He had both Jolson and Monroe albums (note, I did not say CD's)

A wonderful gift. I'm sure he will love it.
