Ok so I added a couple of days before the dining plan kicks in so I am thinking I need a few reasonable options for dinner.. No Mcdonalds, kind of joints, just decent sit down in WDW that won't break the bank..

I am thinking RFC one night, and I have BOMA scheduled on night but I am not sure DS will eat it and they charge him as an adult..

I don't mean cheap, just reasonable for two, with decent food.. We already have the SCI FI one night as well , and WCC...Any other ideas, I was thinking of trails end too...

If you don't mind eating at slightly off hours, go to Beaches & Cream at about 4:00-5:00 (before the dinner rush)

The food is priced like a counter service, but it's a nice sit down with some of the best burgers and chicken sandwiches on property. We had a group of 6 there and split the kitchen sink for dessert, which was a pretty reasonable/cheap dessert when you think about it. (We could have easily split it 8-9 ways)

I don't know if you only have those listed or more, but if you're concerned about what your son may or may not eat, why not do a buffett? If it's just the two of you, you could do Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace? The Plaza in MK is very reasonably priced too and a lovely, light meal. If you want variety, even though it's not a TS place, Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is great!

Have a great trip!!:goodvibes

I'd recommend Pecos Bill's for a lunch or quick dinner. The toppings bar gives you such a variety that it is well worth it. Even when we are on a premium or deluxe dining plan, we make sure to stop there.

As for buffets, I recommend Boma for dinner. Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace are great for a brunch or breakfast. Sci Fi and Prime Time are not overly expensive for lunch or possibly dinner.

Both of my kids are "Disney Adults" so I understand your concern about Boma and paying for an "adult" child :headache: . I can say that my kids are a little picky (DS 11, more than DD 14) and they both love Boma. Some of the foods can seem "strange" (but very good!) and there are plenty of "safe" choices (kids section has mac & cheese, chicken tenders) prime rib is very good, the fruit is fabulous (and my DS has been known to eat bowl after bowl of strawberries there  ) I even took my Dad there last year and he ate and he's much worse than the kids!

Other good, sitdowns include: Beaches & Cream for burgers and awesome onion rings, Plaza at MK, ESPN Club at BW.

I would also say that we've always had very good luck at the buffets with picky eaters because there is so much to choose from. Especially Cape May Cafe Clambake, plenty of non-seafood choices for those that don't like seafood.

Kona Cafe- poly
Crystal Palace in Mk but it is pooh and friends or Plaza
1900 park fare- GF
50's Prime time & Sci Fi- HS
Spoodles & ESPN Cafe- Boardwalk
Cape May Cafe & Beaches N cream- Beach Club

This is the first place I thought of, too. We all find something to eat here, and the desserts are really good. We like to go to HS for the day, then take the boat to Beach Club, eat at Cape May, then walk to Epcot for the eveing/Illuminations.

I keep forgetting Cape May.... Maybe I will do that instead, of Boma.... And I have wanted to try Beaches and Cream ( another I forgot! )

So, it is easy to get over there from HS on the boat, I am thinking on arrival day of going to HS anyway, so maybe we can do that have an early dinner and then head back to get a good night rest !

Both Cape May and the Beachs are at the same place right?

Yep they are both at the Beach club. Easy boat ride from the studios or quick walk from EPCOT.

I really like Sunshine Seasons - lots of good choices, good food, and reasonable cost.

I also like Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD - reasonably priced, quick, good food.

Another fun place we found on our last trip was Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian. They have wonderful, fabulous lettuce wraps - quite healthy, very tasty, and reasonably priced. It's my new favorite place!

We are actually there for a 11 days, and I have all my ADR's but I added a few days and that is what I am trying to fill :goodvibes

I have WCC and Chef Mickeys, I had Crystal Palace, but I cancelled it for The Wave, because we were not impressed last year, but now looking at "The Wave" menu I am not sure that was a smart idea.. ( DS has a nut allergy, and while CP was good about it, they did happen to bring him a dish with nuts) Thankfully he tasted it right away so he did not suffer like he could have..
I should say he is just not much of a buffet eater, so it is hard for me to plan with that.. I only think trails end because he likes the HHD chicken, and I know it is the same..

It really is not a money issue, if he eats it I just don't want to spend 30.00 on a buffet for him not to eat and then still have to get him something.. ... I have wanted to try Earls I forgot about that too...

Gosh so much to choose.
