A few more December questions.

We are heading down to WDW Nov 27th - Dec 4th and I am trying to get a plan of attack. So if you all don't mind I have a few questions.

1) When do they tape the Christmas parade? How crowded is MK? Should we avoid it or is it a must see!

2) When does WDW post the narrattors for Cp? Is the dinner package worth it or should we take our chances in getting a good seat?

3) What other activities are not to be missed?

We are so excited to be going down for the hoilday season! Thanks for helping us plan! :goodvibes

We were there 12/2-12/9 and they were taping the special then, but not the parade. The crowds were small then.

The should be posting the narrators by the end of August. We got the CP package and it saved us a lot of time. We saw Jim Caviezel, who was one of the more popular narrators, and we didn't have to wait in line at all.

I can't recommend Cirque du Soleil highly enough. It was the most creative thing I've ever seen. That's my recommendation.

They do tape the parade in early Dec. People that line the parade route are specially chosen earlier. The biggest problem at MK when they film all this is that some sidewalks and walkways along Main Street are blocked.

Others things to do during Dec. include touring resorts to see decorations, hear the hokiday storytellers in Epcot, watch the light/music show in Epcot, and attend MVMCP.

Wow! Thanks for the responses. We just booked the MVMCP for Dec 1st!! Woo Hoo! I'm just so thrilled to be going to WDW during the holiday season! :goodvibes

We will be there 11/27-12/3 also :) We love the CP, MVMCP - we're going 11/29 (me, DH, & DD) then we're going with my parents 12/1. We LOVE MVMCP - we have went to 2 parties all three December trips prior to this one so I guess it just sounds better to say we're going with my parents to the second one. In all actuality we try to do all the Christmasy stuff one night and then the rides another. The one thing we did last year for the first time was to tour some of the other resorts. That was so much fun - and something we had never taken the time to do before.

The first weekend of Dec last year they were taping the christmas parade. We tried to stay out of the way. Main street was packed. Once you got over the bridge it was better.
I would do the CP package it was great. Kirk Franklin was the narrator the night we went.
We liked it so much last year we are going again right after Thanksgiving this year.
