Sorry for even more questions! I've just been doing some trip planning and a couple of things have cropped up.

First one is, can you take an ECV on the Friendship Boats which cross the lake at EPCOT?

Second one, as you can't take an ECV on the WDW Railroad train at MK where would you leave the ECV whilst you are on the train?

Hopefully that's the last of them! ;)

Thanks :D

ECV's can use the Friendship boats.

If you board the train at the Main Street Station you can leave your ECV either on the platform or if you can walk the ramp you can leave it by the ramp out of the way. You can't board the train at Frontierland unless you can walk steps. I can't but I imagine you could leave it near the stairs out of the way. I can't tell you where you would need to leave it at Toon Town since I try to avoid that area since it's always so busy.

Hi Mazzy,
Regarding ECV's on the Friendship Boats. The answer is absolutely!

As far as the Railroad goes, I'm not too sure where exactly you can leave the ECV, but I think I recall seeing some set aside near the boarding areas. I'm sure someone can help you more on this one...

Have a great trip:)

ECVs can't go on the railroad, but an ecv can be traded in for a manual wheelchair at any station if you need to. Since an ecv can't go on the train, you either have to make a round trip back to the station you got on, or come back to that station later to pick up the ecv.

Mainstreet Station: The ramp is way over on the right side (as you face the train station from the end of Main Street. It's on the same side as City Hall.

ToonTown Station: We haven't gotten on there in a long time, but I know that wheelchair users board in the front of the train (to the right as you face the station). I'm pretty sure that would be where ecvs would be parked. That station is flat, so there are just the few steps up from the ground to the train and a ramp to go up if bringing a wheelchair onto the train.

Frontierland: There used to be only stairs to go up at this station, so wheelchair users could not board here at all. A few years ago, they built a ramp. It is on the right side as you face the station and kind of winds back and forth to go all the way up. ECVs can be parked at the top of the ramp.

Yes to the Friendship boats. Not a problem.
As to the train you will have to amke a round trip. Castmembers will show you where to park the ECV.

Mazzy, I have never had a problem riding the boats in EPCOT. the CMs have always been wonderful about explaining to me how to get on & off. Have fun! Relax!

We used the station at Frontierland, near Splash. The ramp was fairly easy to maneouver. Grama can walk, so we parked teh ECV and walked on the train, taking the roundtrip ride. It was great!

Mark P: Love your sig! 100% true! Semper Fi~
