To those of you who are adding characters... wow, I really appreciate it! I am seriously enjoying looking at your photos and reports.

You are doing a great job at posting them quickly. I need to go redo Pocahontas because I have a picture with her signature on it (like my Tink, Rosetta, etc.). So, I'm going to do that, but just be warned so my "report" doesn't get accidently posted twice.

The kind words are much appreciated - but the *190* sighting entries are even more so!

I have added icons to the listings to show which characters don't have any sighting data or photos. Some of the most common characters didn't have anything yet (we finally got the first Mickey entry), while some harder to find ones did. Of course, I can't blame folks for wanting to show off those hard to find ones!

Remember, the more data you give us, the better. Please don't be shy about entering sighting data, even if it's just a short line. Try to make the dates as accurate as you can, but if you're off by a few days (hmm... can't remember what day it was that we saw Baloo on that last trip), don't worry about it.

And don't be shy about sharing pics - even if the character you're viewing already has several. We want to see them!

Is there any way we can edit our entries? I put the wrong name on one, and the wrong date on the other Maybe the fact that I am posting from work has something to do with that! I need to wait until I get home so I can pay more attention to what I am doing!

We're up to 287 sighting entries, and 199 photos. For a project that's only a couple of days in, that's amazing!

Of course, I'm never happy. We have 211 characters listed, and 143 of them have at least one sighting. That's fantastic - but that means that 68 still have nothing at all.

Likewise, we have at least one photo for 134 different characters - meaning that 77 have no image whatsoever.

So why post these statistics? Because I'm certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there are Dis members out there with information and pics of these characters. If you don't mind, please share them with us!

Remember, any and all contributions are welcomed - even if you "only" have a picture of Mickey, feel free to post it! The more people add to the utility, the more useful it will be for those looking for characters.

Another glut of entries this afternoon. We're getting to the point that MOST characters have at least some info.

Of course, there is still a LONG way to go... and ideally, we'll get to the point where people regularly visit and post their sightings after returning from a visit to WDW - so that the info stays fresh.

This is slick, I really like the "rarity" scale. There are a ton of characters! I've never even heard of many of them.

My scale is based heavily off of the one that hugsforeeyore uses at wdwautographs - make sure to check out that site, too - there are a ton of great tips there, and the pictures are first rate.

I had Walrus suggested to me as a character I should add - I'd never heard of him in ANY list. I added him today, and there has been a sighting posted... but not by the person who suggested it!

Anyway, I really hope that combining our character knowldedge will make this thing super useful, and that it will stay that way.

Joanna is quick! I think he may be better listed as event character... I've only heard of him being at MNSSHP, which is what Joanna listed on her entry as well!
